House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi reacted to today’s jobs report, which showed that a record 155,474,000 were employed in the United States in May as the unemployment rate dropped to 3.8 percent, by saying that the “strong employment numbers mean little to the families hit with soaring new costs under the Republican’s watch.” “From day one, the White House and Republicans in Congress have sold out working and middle class families to further enrich the wealthy and big corporations shipping jobs overseas,” Pelosi said.
