That is how to lie with statistics. According to FBI statistics that all states have to report to regarding homicides by firearms there were 9778 homicides by firearms in 2015. The rest of firearm deaths are self defense, suicides and accidents. If you want to count so called assault rifles it's under 150 a year for murders.

Do you realize the size of the US? Put Texas on a map of Europe. It's about twice the size of Germany and that's just one of the our 50 states. The UK is nothing compared to the US. You would have to compare gun deaths per 100K population to get an accurate comparison.
