Pretty dumb non-event. The Korean general saluted Trump. Apparently the talking heads, including those who served, don't know that the junior member salutes the senior member first, so what the general did was a sign of respect for Trump. Returning the salute was the right thing to do, especially when you watched how it happened.
Talk about being desperate to find something negative . . . .
And this doesn't hold a candle to that bending and butt kissing our last president did.

Since we're dealing with hypotheticals, I don't believe Obama would've had the presence of mind to return the salute (corpse-man and all), and Fox would've criticized him for that.

Petty or not, you have to admit Melania's unexplained apparel choice at this particular time is very curious. The absence of an explanation fosters all manner of possibilities when the reality may be very simple. Maybe it's Trump and/or Melania's way of manipulating the media to keep the focus off more serious matters...who knows? I'm pretty sure folks from all sides of the spectrum are talking about it. The public seems fixated on fake realities, including ridiculous 'reality shows' like The Kardashians.

I guess we will find out if it is a non-issue in short while. If it is something no one cares about, the event will quickly fade away....which it should. Melania doesn't make policy or sign bills into law. Basically, she's just a housewife who happens to currently live in the White House. If she goes down in history, it will be for being a very attractive and non-conventional First Lady who will be most be remembered for her fashion choices and not her rhetoric or good deeds.
