Title: Books for Free!
Post by: Vince B on June 15, 2018, 07:14:01 PM
Interesting what is on the internet. Look up the Genesis Library. Here is the link: http://gen.lib.rus.ec/

Go to YouTube and do a search for "How to download any books for free". Many thanks to the Russian site.

Works best if you have an Ipad. Save pdf books to iBooks on your tablet. Choose the square symbol with an arrow pointing up and scroll along until you see "Copy to Ibooks".

Lots of bodybuilding books there. Arnold, Pearl, Mentzer, etc.

Plenty of textbooks in exercise physiology and all sciences. Just not the most recent editions.

Any books on the Bicep Supination Machine?

I use the library to download copies of books I already purchased such as Total Recall by Arnold. Nice to have a copy I can read on my iPad.

Most books I buy now are Kindle Books from Amazon.

Run the books through -

www.virustotal.com .

Libgen sometimes comes across with interesting stuff, but the PDFs can sometimes be infected. Not usually, but sometimes.

For those with a library card (or foreign equivalent), there's also -

http://www.kanopy.com/ .

This explains the thought behind it -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanopy .

There's also Overdrive, which is a bit more pain in the ass-y, but can sometimes kick up older books and also audiobooks -

www.overdrive.com .

VINCE, PELLIUS, ILLUMINATI, etal,  Please give "DANCING Wu LI MASTERS" a read. I've suggested that many times on this board but apparently there was no interest regarding the easiest way in which to have a basic understanding of Quantum Mechanics.

Give it a try and you will be fascinated.

Once you get past page 62 of course and then get into the dual nature of light ..... Is it a wave? .... or is it a particle?

Or does that 'light' make that wave or particle decision itself depending on how you look at it?

And then it will start to blow your mind throughout the nest couple of hundred pages with Schrödinger's cat (Wikipedia that cat for a sample) and ullterior realities, etc.

Stand by for the ultimate ed-u-ma-ca-tion if you decide to read it.

Great to see that some of you guys are showing an interest in DANCING WU LI MASTERS.

But here's a bit of a warning ...

The first 62 pages or so is mostly concerned with the work of pioneers in western physics down through the ages ,,,, which I personally found to be a bit boreing .... but then it jumps into the dual nature of light ...the fact that light can act as both a wave and a particle. (depending on 'how' you look at it.)

But don't let that wave/particle duality problem turn you off. Keep on reading and it gets pretty damn interesting.

I suggest you read it  small bits at a time and do your best to comprehend it as well as possible before proceeding to the next sentence, paragraph, or chapter.

This book REALLY makes you think!

But don't think you are too damn dumb to understand most of it. Just realize that the smartest brains in the world fail to understand it also.

It's a big puzzle that those smart guys are still trying to put together, but without YOUR HELP ... they probably never will.

Thanks, NELSON. I only wish that I was smart enough to have written that book .... or even smart enough to fully comprehend it,

But after reading it a number of times .... I was able to discuss some basic Quantum Mechanics topics intelligently with a college Physics Professor who was considered to be well versed on the subject.

The most important thing he said was, "Don't consider yourself to be dumb if you fail to understand QM. No one fully understands what's going on within the world of Quantum Mechanics!"

ILLUMINATY, It is a tough read, but if you can just grasp a small part of it you will get a better idea how the world actually works and how extremely complicated it is.

Plus other interesting shit that has all been verified by physical experiments.

I cannot find my well-worn copy, so I'm gonna try to download it also  ... and do my best to smarten up a bit with information that is absolutely useless during my present lifetime .... but it does make you THINK about interesting things you never 'thunk of' before you turned those pages.

If you get to the part about 'the cat in the box' and really understand it, pls explain it to me.

Only 37 pages in,
So far it’s good.

It’s quite an old book
Does what he puts forward / says still hold up on the subject
Or has it moved on.

Basile has "no shame". He knows "every scam in the book" and could be called "vile scum". These are all statements, that Basile has called other Getbiggers. With his apparent lack of moral values, and desired to promote illegal books, the exact same phrases apply to him.

FREAK, I just received QED on my Amazon Kindle and will start reading asap. Thanks for the referral.

Ill , I can't tell you if Wu Li is up to date, but I believe it is up to date re the basics, but a lot of QM knowledge must have been gained since then.

Maybe QED will smarten me up. But don't rely on me getting any smarter than I already am.... or am not ..... to explain any part of QM intelligently if your life depended on it.

FREAK, .... QED, I just completed reading chapter one of QED, but will be reading chapter one once again with the hopes that it will sink in and become thoroughly understandable before jumping into chapter two.

I gotta admit that chapter one of QED goes into a deeper, step by step discussion/explanation than Dancing Wu and requires a lot of concentration in an effort to understand precisely what is being explained when light passes through and reflects from varying degrees of thickness of a window pane (the 96 - 4 pecent explanation).

It is a shit-load different than/from Dancing Wu which is more of a review of the new physics, while QED is more like a teacher's step-by-step explanation of QM basics within a class-room environment.

Thanks again.

PRIME, I'm not sure if you are looking for a book regarding QM, but if you have such an interest I would suggest you read QED first (thanks again, FREAK)  and then read Dancing Wu Li Masters if your interest continues.

PRIME, Yes! That is the book, but don't attempt to read it unless you are curious about QM.

All advanced physics books are extremely hard to read and difficult to comprehend with one reading, but if you read each chapter more than once, and start to understand some, but not all, of what that chapter describes, you'll see the world and your surroundings from a different perspective.
