Title: Michael Jackson. Can't believe it's been nine years since he died.
Post by: pellius on June 25, 2018, 10:54:49 PM
Back in the 80s I belong to one of those small, now extinct gyms with no a/c, no "cardio" equipment and primary just free weights. There were only two women that could stomach working out there but the rest were men. Being small it was close knit and we all saw each other socially outside the gym and I made many life long friends there. I'm sure there must have been more but I remember three topics of the day that really made a buzz at the gym and everyone was talking about it. One was when Jeff King won the AAU Mr. America. Nobody really heard about him then but seeing him on the cover of Iron Man everybody's jaw dropped! So young and so massively developed! He was sure to be the new Arnold and dominate. Then there was Mike Tyson when he won the heavyweight championship. What more can be said about him. He captured the world's attention and any man that had a pair was fascinated by his sheer brutal savagery and dominance. And then there was Michael Jackson's performance of "Billie Jean" on the 1984 Grammy Awards.

You wouldn't think he would capture such attention at an old hardcore weight lifting gym but he did. He seem to capture everybody's imagination. We are about the same age so I literally grew with him and was a huge fan beginning with the Jackson 5. While MTV changed everything, he changed MTV and just redefined and set a new standard with his videos. It was like watching a short movie. I remember my family and some friends gathering around the TV to watch the "Thriller" music videos and it gave us all goose bumps. We never saw anything like it. Same when he performed "Billie Jean" on the 1984 Grammy awards. The first time we ever saw the moon walk. Again it was mind blowing in those times from people from all walks of life. Michael Jackson was one of a kind.

When he performed "Billie Jean" again on stage nearly 20 years later it was not only nostalgic but it gave you an idea the impact he had on this world. His ability to move people emotionally. Needless to say a lot had gone in his life during those 20 years. Most of it seem to be bad and he got more weird and eccentric. He even started to look not quite human but kind of like an alien with humanoid features. By this time everyone knew, and could do, his shtick. There were so many imitators that could dance and dress like him. It wasn't new anymore. And when Michael walked out on stage to do his reenactment of his original "Billie Jean" performance, busting out the old jacket, the hat, the one white glove (lol)... it happened again. Even though none of this was new anymore just watching Michael do it made it alive and magical again. The crowd went wild. How one man could move people so emotionally powerfully and enrich their lives so much in that one moment in time. So many there were about the same age I was when I first saw him perform in 1984 and were just babies or not even born at the time. I considered Billie Jean a good song, but like most of his music, I never considered it great. But when Michael performed it, it was great.

Hard to believe it been nine years now since his death. I remember I was at Kualoa beach park texting my friends on the mainland when the news was breaking.

The jacket, the hat, the glove, the dancing... it never gets old when Michael Jackson is doing it.

pellius is a bender?  ???  Bombshell news if true.  I had no clue that pellius was a bender.  I would have never guessed he was a bender based on anything prior to this.

To be honest, I feel there is a lot of liability in being a straight male, brought on by crap like #MeToo" [is that pronounced "Pound Me too"?  It may explain why the movement attracts the sorts of women it does].

Ultimately, I am a family man and a father at heart, so I am glad I am straight, but I would be in more relationships if not for the liability of being a male in a relationship, where the default position is to blame the man for everything.  My experience has been that people close to a given situation will fairly assess it, more or less.  So if a man is the victim of abuse by a female, people who know him will acknowledge it.  I also think that thanks to our court system, that men will win in court if they did indeed do nothing wrong.

What I find disturbing is the immediate finding of guilt in the court of public opinion.  That bothers me immensely.  No man stands a chance in the court of public opinion.  Enough cases have proven that.  And these things ruin a man's reputation.

PS - great post, pellius.  I too was a fan of Michael Jackson.  He was a tremendous performer.  His dance speed was incredible, and I wonder to what extent drugs played a role in his ability to sing and dance as he did.  Regardless, genetics obviously played a huge role, as very few performers ever did what he did.  When do you suppose Eminem will pass away?  He is 46 this year, and I suspect he did WAY more drugs than Jackson ever did.  I told my mother that I feel drugs are to rock [or rap] stars what steroids are to professional bodybuilders and strongmen.  When she asked if I felt that drugs were a necessity to perform at the top level in the music industry, I said yes.  :-\

I've never heard the term "bender" but by your post the implication is that it means "gay". I never thought that being a fan of Michael Jackson makes you gay. If this is the case, then maybe gays are correct when they claim that all research, polls and studies indicate that homosexuals is about 2-4% of the population is vastly understated. Michael Jackson was the most popular pop start among both women and men.

Interesting!
I also grew up in a old school gym like that. I think we had one girl. Also our own Van Bilderass trained there. That guy is fucking strong!
But about MJ i still think of him a the greatest performer ever! That guy was intense! Every move and lyric was just perfect. Saw him live in 97 and noone can match that. How the fuck can a person sing and dance like that and never make a misstake?

Michael Jackson was 2 months younger than my sister. They were friends. My parent's home on Hayvenhurst in Encino, CA was fairly near the Jackson coumpound. By this time, I was married and living in Oregon. I think my sister and Michael were in their very early teens at the time. Debbie ocassionally talks abbout those days, but even to her it seems as if it was no big deal.

Michael Jackson began his solo career in 1971. Billy Jean was released in 1982. By this time, I was in my late 30's. Although I thought he was talented, his music wasn't my thing. Poor Michael was pretty weird looking, way too much plastic surgery ruined his looks, to the point where he barely looked human anylonger.

Yes, kind sir.

"Bender" is the UK word for gay.  ;D  Well...one of them.  "Poofter" is another one, but it's possible that both terms are out of fashion these days.  I assumed that the term bender to denote male homosexuality, referred to men who bent over to receive anal sex, but a champion distance runner from my city told me that bender meant bent - as in, not straight.  That would be a more straightforward rationale.

That said, if being a fan of Michael Jackson makes one a bender that means that I too [#MeToo] is a bender.  :-X

Not that there is anything wrong with that. :-\ :-X

No, I'm kidding - well...not about being a Michael Jackson fan - he was amazing.  But about the insinuation that being a fan of MJ makes one a bender.

I can totally understand why the doctors of both Michael Jackson and Prince more or less did whatever they said.  It must be incredibly difficult for a person to deny the influence of Michael Jackson...most people would have a difficult time with that.  And no doubt, MJ used the drugs to help him perform...the sad thing, looking back, is that Michael Jackson should likely never have been assumed by fans and other observers to be a person who would have ended up living to become a senior citizen.  I could be wrong here, but I feel that at that level of stardom, drugs are somewhat of a necessity.

Although Prince allegedly died from Fentanyl-containing fake Vicodin pills.  That's sad if true, because Vicodin is not super strong.  But to take something you think is [relatively mild] Vicodin, and for it to be Fentanyl... :-X  Well...let's just say...it is not a surprise to me that Prince died.

In my neck of the woods in Thunder Bay, Canada, Fentanyl- [or more likely, Carfentanyl]-laced cocaine has been a thing for about the past 16 months or so.  Pretty scary stuff - imagine doing $10 in cocaine, and to die because it turns out that it is laced with an opiate that it was not supposed to contain.  That seems horribly unfair to the family members of your regular weekend warriors doing relatively small amounts of drugs.  Also, while producing fake Vicodin pills with Fentanyl somewhat makes sense...HOW does it make sense for Fentanyl or Carfentanyl to be put in cocaine?

It's sad that more regular people need to die as a result of this.  Back to MJ - it would seem to me that performing at his level came at a cost...I have to wonder if he would have done it over again if he knew that he was going to die only a couple of months shy of his 51st birthday...and again, given that Eminem will be 46 this year, I do wonder how much more time he has left.  My brother said he was consuming up to 20 Oxycontin 80 pills at his peak opiate intake.  :-\

Give it a rest.

Even a dude in a band I love (Toto), Steve Porcaro (keys), wrote “Human Nature”. All of it. Go on YouTube and listen to the demo he gave Quincy. Finished. Music, arrangement, lyrics, everything.

Speaking of Toto, the boys from that band are all over Thriller.

Diddler-fiddler Mike sometimes had vague ideas (i.e. “beats”) for a song, but that was mostly the extent of his musical input.

“beats”) for a song, but that was mostly the extent of his musical input.

toto is so gay it make michael seem heterosexual

Toto has in its ranks world-incinerating monster musicians. Off-the-chart virtuosic firepower.

Go fuck yourself.

Props! I hate pedos myself. I had a former wife that came from e pedophile father. She also had three younger sisters in that same situation. I stole a car and had them live with me for three years before we found a better solution with a good family. Pedos are nasty!

Difference is that I never engaged in adult/child sex, i never had sex as a teenager, I never had sex with a teenager ever; I never have any gay tendencies, fantasies or behavior. Unlike you, which explains your preoccupation with child/adult sex and various other perversions. I don't think it is a coincidence that you seem to be very familiar with the mind set of a boy having sex with an older man.

I remember my first pedo experience.

I was a young blonde haired lad of 12.

She was a bi-sexual, girlfriend of my mates mom, around 35.

Naked in her room, she invited me in....

She loved the pre-teen cock...

Many gays reminisce about the first time they were fucked by men (when they were boys) with great pleasure....  (a total rejection of your theory that THAT would be bad)...

hahaha  but what if ur hunky 13 year old boy is gay and wants some gay man ass

it's a great experience for him to look back on later in life

Meltdown. Those are your words. Anybody can look them up. You only post images that can't be confirmed or put in context without a lot of work.

Why don't you post a pic and show us all how much more handsome you are than I am. Wasn't that how you were able to get cougar pussy as a boy and was so cute to the gays that introduce you to the "joys of sex"?

But there will be no posted pics of you. That's why you are so bitter because you grew up and got ugly and now have to hide behind a computer staying up all night refreshing your screen and indulging your pedo and gay fantasies. It's almost 11pm here in Hawaii and time for me to call it a night as I have a real life. It's much later where you are but here you are, waiting for my post, melting down.

Sad.

Dude i was banging 30 year old women when i was 8yo - u just never hung in the right female pedo circles - lots of female pedos out there

yeah but if u have a cute 13 yo boy they want to introduce him to the joys of sex

LOL u are pathetic.

You know those posts were made to demonstrate the flawed psychology of other posters who were defending underage sex with young boys.

haha it's clear in the context in which it was posted that I was trying to shame guys who were defending adults having sex with boys

Yet you continue to lie to deflect attention from the truth.

I think.. more and more...  you may really be a pedo.

BTW Uncle Pellius...  I remember a post where you were saying you were a security guard, and you KNEW someone (I think one of your co-workers) was having sex with a 13 year old in the housing complex, and you did nothing.

If any other posters can find that quote it would be greatly appreciated.

Not to play devil's advocate, but there is a different between sex [or the desire to have it] with a female of reproductive age, versus prepubescent girls.  I never thought I thought much of sex until I had sex with a woman with natural pubic hair for the first time - and that was in 2015.  The 13 or 14 women I had sex with before that had shaved their pubic hair, except for one [the second woman I was with, in 2003, and it only happened one time].

In 2015, I was with the woman for a full year [attempting to conceive, after IVF failed her...but it turned out her OBGYN was right, and she was infertile].

I think my brain processed shaved vulvas by subconsciously telling me "You're having sex with a child".  It wasn't a conscious thing, but my lack of interest in sex seemed to be directly related to that.

I don't know why on earth women collectively got the idea to shave their pubic hair - I assume porn was the inspiration for this, unfortunately.  Likely starting in the early to mid 1990's.  I think it's stupid, and I'm glad to see that fewer women are doing this today...not that I am with a lot of women, but I think I am with enough to get a sense of scope to accurately comment on this.

I have a penchant for women who have more hair between their legs than on their head.  But that's just me - to each their own.  Oh, and - that was an exaggeration...but not my much.  ;D

Oh I agree completely!  A beautiful woman with a natural bush is just stunning to me!  I absolutely LOVE IT!

I read people (mostly online) talking about how a pubic bush grosses them out, how they only like it shaved, etc and I really do wonder about those people....
