I read Marius trained as a boxer prior to becoming a strongman, but this fight suggests otherwise.

Sounds similar to the claims by most bodybuilders that they were a "former star athlete in high school" and had a "scholarship" offer to "play" football at a "major university" before "blowing out their knee" and "discovering their love of bodybuilding" (oh brother).
