Post by: Natural_O on July 08, 2018, 11:31:53 AM
I put together a special edition of the Bodybuilding Legends Podcast this week to celebrate the one year anniversary of the podcast (the first show aired on July 5th, 2017). Included in this special episode is excerpts from interviews with Muscle, Smoke & Mirrors author Randy Roach, Pumping Iron author Charles Gaines, Roger Callard, Dorian Yates, Lee Haney, former IFBB Head Judge Roger Schwab, Danny Padilla, Roy Callender and former IFBB Judge Winston Roberts (RIP)

I met Roy. Nice guy, does aerobics and personal trainer now. Very open about what bodybuilders use to compete and would've been a great guru if he'd gone that route. He's like a friendly and non-psychotic Basile, since he met Arnold, too.

Yeah, Roy is a super cool guy, very laid back and humble. I did a video interview with him and he talked about when he competed against Larry Scott when Scott made his comeback in 1978. He was so blown away competing against a guy who was his idol when he got into bodybuilding. I was really impressed with how much respect he had towards Larry.
