Heavyweight MMA is the only sport in the world that matters. Now that we've cleared the air, let's talk about Cormier vs Jones. Cormier wins that fight at heavyweight. He doesn't have to worry about the weight cut and he will be like 245 lbs. Jones' power won't hurt him and I believe Cormier will rush him and smother him. Cormier has that Fedor build. Thick and powerful. As for Brock Lesnar, I think it's a different story. That fight could go either way in my opinion. Cormier may have the edge, but Brock is a freak of nature.
-
Wrong. JJ will beat is ass worse than ever for the hat trick. And Lesnar will get his ass beat by Cormier. Cormier will bully him. Brock doesn't like getting punched in the face. That's what Cormier would do and it's be over on round 1.
-
Well nobody likes being punched in the face, and every fighter tries to bully their opponent so you're not really offering anything here. Cormier adding weight obviously made a huge difference for him. I watched the post fight interview and he said he was able to hurt guys a lot more in training at the heavier weight and liked it. Jones whole game is movement with pin point shots and creativity. He was able to hurt a lighter Cormier but I don't think he will hurt him IF they fight at heavyweight. I think Lesnar vs Cormier is a good fight but that won't happen they said for at least 6 months. I have no clue on if or when Jones will come back but Cormier said he is retiring in March of 2019.

jones beat dc once by decision.

I read somewhere ufc has 15 cards that sold more than a million ppv and lesner is on 5 of those. Idk how he’s the number 1 contender I’d be pissed if I was the #2 guy getting jumped for a title fight by a guy who hasn’t fought in years and might still be on a ped suspension but $ talks

cormier is fuckin amazing or its all these bigger dudes are slowed down from roids

Other than Jones and maybe a prime Cain, who beats him?
-
Cormier should beat Brock he's a professional fighter. Brock is a professional wrestler who has competed at a high level in MMA.
That said this is not the same situation for Brock when he fought Cain, he is healthy as opposed to fighting for his life and recovering from diverticulitis.
On paper Cormier is better than Brock at everything but that's why they hold the fights.
-
Brock looked awesome against Hunt he was in his best shape. If he brings that package it could make things interesting. Some how he only popped for clomid. He looked like he was on a heavy stack. Watch the weigh in against Hunt.
-
Thought Jones was banned for life by the UFC?
-
Cormier beats JJ at Hw. Brock beats Cormier at HW too small, he will simply rush him, only chance he has if he can catch him on the chin with a knee or punch on the way in as he's shooting. Lesnar on top ground and pound too much for anyone. solid wrestling base too. good match up. If Lesnar fought Stipe I have stipe beating the shit out of him just as he has enough size to counter his wrestle.
Styles make fights.

A prime Shane Carwin was a nightmare, also Junior Dos Santos, but those guys are too old now. I still think Cormier can beat Jones at heavyweight. I also think Ngannou has some potential, he just needs to figure out how to let go a little but still fight cautious. His opponent this past weekend Lewis is also very big with freaky power. The fight I actually would like to see is Ilir Latifi vs Cormier. Both short stocky wrestler types. Latifi has crazy power just like Cormier. There is some good talent coming up if you look at the top 10. Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov are both very good and Blaydes has some good wins on his resume. I just like the fact that the heavyweight division seems to be picking up a little.

Everybody seems to be missing the point that Jones and Lesnar were juiced to the gills in their last few appearances. Cormier keeps on training and working on his fighting skill set which is why he beat Stipe, who also looked 10x better physically than he does. If Cormier beats Lesnar it solidifies a non-juice champ for UFC which is what they need.
-
I could also potentially see Stipe beating Cormier in a rematch.

Oh there's no doubt..BUT Cormier will never take that fight. He will cash in with Brock and t hen retire
-
Adding weight doesn't make your chin any better at taking punches and the more hits you take to the head, the less hits you can take and still walk away from.

For years I've said that Jones and Cormier are both the best light heavyweights and best heavyweights.
Can't see Jones losing to DC at heavyweight especially after how easily Jones got him the first two times.
Lesnar is a joke. This fight is wrong on so many levels. Dana White is being a whore. Cormier will humiliate him as would Jon Jones.
Francis Ngannou and Derrick Lewis should both have been dropped from their contracts. If they want back in, make them go through
another ultimate fighter series. That was the worst fight I've ever seen from any combat sport.
-
jones "juiced to the gills" ???
maybe on palumbo's supply?
-
cormier beats everyone.
that is everyone.
at age 39 and no steroids.
-
Jones popped for having a miniscule amount of some anti estrogens in his system and tiny amount of tbol. How is that juicing to the gills lol. Wonder how these guys run cycles getting tested at random.
-
why would anyone just use a tiny amount of steroids
-
Nobody has talked about cormier poking him in the eye. I rewatched it...it was an eye poke thrown as a jab on purpose. I guess cormier took one out of jon jones's book. Btw cormier is fat
-
why would anyone just use a tiny amount of steroids
Because they want small (unnoticeable) results.
It's the extra 1% to 2% that makes champions.
Many of these elite athlete don't have to use steroids, just being in the same room with the drugs can yield fantastic results. That's how elite the genetics of these pros are!

I love MMA so much, Da cage truly is where its at.

Choir boy next to Tyson.

Choir boy next to Tyson.
Not to sure about that. If they were in an octogon. Cormier would murder Tyson.

You want blood for anything cardio related and for that you don't need much.
I go up to 250/wk test to boost blood for cycling events and that is a superhuman jump over natural.
I dont understand why rogan says juiced to the gills either as you dont want the muscle because it lowers the benefit of the increase of the blood. Hence the muscle guys gas fucking quick despite all that extra blood.
-
I hope brock beats cormier...so he will cry again. Doubt it will happen though

I was listening to a podcast once with Angel Heredia and he was talking about how guys juicing for sport actually want to come off about 2 weeks prior to competition. He was speaking specifically about sprinters and how he had a sprinter who could only run a 10.2 second 100m sprint while on, but once he came off for a couple weeks and his body relaxed and became less tense he could run a 9.9 second 100m sprint. Interesting stuff. I imagine mma might be the same way.
