People fuck up on the smallest/easiest of tasks because their math skills aren’t up to par?  It happens more often than not when I’m paying for a small item in cash, today my dry cleaning, and it was $31.24. So I give her $41.25 so that I don’t get a bunch of ones back and she looks at me puzzled and hands back the $1.25 and gives me a bunch of ones and change. I’m thinking, “you idiot, if you’re too dumb to do the math in your head, at least punch the amount I gave you into the register and let it tell you what my change is”.  Is this a result of common core, no child left behind, or has “Idiocracy” finally come true? ???
