Who's the Fascist? (https://www.facebook.com/DCNFthefacts/videos/634979896901929/)
-
Too far one way or the other and you end up on the other side.
-
I always interpreted Fascism as being a form of government in which individual rights are subordinated to state mandates because individuals in mutual conflict with one another are less capable of creating a good society than a government is, since the government is actively seeking to benefit the society as a whole, while the individual is only seeking benefit to himself without regard to those around him.
I'm not sure I disagree with that. Most people are selfish idiots who exchange long term welfare for short term satisfaction. Go on down to the DMV for a few hours then tell me about how you believe in democracy.
Anyway, this thread will now be about skin color for some reason.

99% of people don't even know what Fascism is. They just call anyone or anything that is authoritarian and repressive "Fascist!"
What you end up with is both cuckservatives and libtards calling each other it - as the video shows. ::)
If anything, all this just does is shift the political paradigm further to the left by demonizing the ideology which fought to save many nations from Communism/Marxism.

wat is fascism
btw these special words are annoying when they can mean different things to different folks
-
Trying to silence an opposing view through violence is one of the major tenets of Fascism. That's why these violent liberal Antifa types are actually the definition of Fascism.

I hope you're trolling.

I read a book called “Liberal Facism” about six years ago and that author brought up some gtreat points. If you like to read, I’d say grab it as it’s a quick one. I’ll forewarn some of you, he is Jewish.

they are against fascism
They are the Nazi brown shirts that silenced any opposition to Hitler through violence and intimidation.

The sad reality is most people, even those who are smart will give up the majority of their freedoms as long as their basic needs are met and they are able to be bombarded with excess pleasure and distraction on a regular basis.

they are against fascism
Yes, they are radical communists/marxists and anarchists. They've existed in Europe for decades and seek a revolution similar to what occurred previously in France and Russia with the upheaval of traditional societal norms and hierarchy.
-
im still confused about fascism, by definition its dictatorial power forcible suppresion of opposition and control of industry and commerce
antifa says they dont want fascism but theyre actions certainly side with fascism right, wat am i missing. do as i say not as i do?

I have not 'really' been in the States except for a few tourist visits.
Many years ago I remember a fellow Canadian staying in the USA (some major city) and saying that at night through his hotel window he'd see people walking out at night 'looking for trouble'...
This stayed in my mind and now the media frenzy is feeding that thought...people looking for trouble...
To my fellow Americans my question is, is it really brewing in the major cities like it's been portrayed in the recent years?

Antifa are aggressive and authoritarian but that's where most similarities end.
Fascism believes strongly in national identity, heritage, hierarchy and traditional societal values.
The Marxists (Antifa) wish to destroy all these concepts since they view them as oppressive inventions.
Compare their beliefs regarding gender for instance; Fascists promote the traditional male and female positions within society. Marxists reject these positions and want them dismantled. This is why they often invent new terms such as "gender fluidity". It is simply an attack on traditional norms.
I would suggest you research historical events such as the French and Russian revolutions or the Spanish civil war. They provide a good lesson in understanding the "left vs right" political sides and how it still impacts our world.

There has always been places in major cities in the USA where you should not go.
Gangs, drugs, crime, etc. You don't go there. That is where 99% of the shootings take place between rival gangs fighting over turf and payback hits.

Antifa are the blackshirts of the socialists/far left.

Except that originally Mussolini and the prime fascists started as extreme-left wingers. Mussolini was a anarcho-syndicalist. And both Fascism and Marxism have roots in the French Revolution- the concept of Nationalism was mostly created by the Jacobins (the French National Anthem still has that verse about "the impure blood that has to be shed"). If anything, Fascism was a dialectical reaction to Marxism, which was first and foremost a philosophy of History that believed that Reason was embodied in the historical development of Capitalism (simply turning around Hegel's philosophy in fact). Fascism substituted Nation to History.

Mussolini made the trains run on time.
This was his great accomplishment.

Mussolini made the trains run on time.
This was his great accomplishment.
His mistake was joining Hitler, before that he did a lot of good for Italy and tried to modernize the country, making education compulsory and moving the country away from basically still being a feudal state.
The Italian Fascists repeatedly told the Germans they were not ready for war, and would need at least another 5 years to modernize their military. They had also spent massive amounts in the Ethiopian War and the Spanish Civil War and were facing heavy sanctions. The Germans said they had no plans for a European war. Then they invaded Poland.

The Italian Social Republic (1943-1945) went back to those roots, even though they were a puppet state under German control.
There were plans that businesses with over a 100 employees were to be nationalized and syndicates representing various occupations would deal and negotiate with the state on behalf of workers.
