They're good for heel support and have an gel insole for cushioning when doing leg day. I've got black ones, too. In a way they're not unlike Otomix in the sense of those having a high heel structure as well. Problem with Otomix is, they were crap. It felt like walking on plywood. Only good for photoshoots with muscle magazines doing exercises with fake weights, 20 years ago.

They're good enough for Westside Barbell gym, that's what they recommend.

It has a flat, fairly right sole. A raised heel might bet better for squats, but i don't care that much. This is one shoe I can wear for everything: walking, running, and lifting.

i have worked actual manual labor jobs and prefer real boots or either athletic shoes - not some hybrid form with colors to impress gay men in the gym
