Title: 2019 Olympia - Phil Heath - Back to the Drawing Board
Post by: Brian Poulos on September 16, 2018, 10:46:48 AM
Ok now it is time for the Champ to go back to the drawing board, write out the blueprint, and labor under the iron like a man possessed. I hereby predict that Heath will approach the weights and the diet with a fire in his eyes and a mission written in his heart that can only be accomplished in exactly one year when that Olympia First Place Medal is placed around his muscular neck once again.

Go Phil! Love ya!!

He no longer has the momentum of being the defending champion. It can only happen if he improves dramatically(which at this stage of his career is very unlikely) or if all of the main contenders are off.

Heath is done. He won't win again. Do what Cutler is doing. Capitalize on his bodybuilding fame.

Protruding stomach, small legs, limbs distorted, biceps getting flatter and smaller.  His time has come and gone.  He may have been a 7 time Mr. Olympia but some of those years were undeserved and a gift on a platter.

I was thinking the same thing. He definitely has the distended waist and declining limbs. I would say he has stage 2 Palumboism now, but it will worsen.

I'd say stage 1. His strengths are still there. His weaknesses are becoming more noticeable. His arms and back are still there, thickness,  hardness, density, conditioning.

All past O winners had gift placings, jay, Ronnie, Dorian, Arnold, etc

This. Shawn will place 1st again next year, with either Roelly or Bonac in 2nd. Phil will be in 4th.

He said that he wanted to see how big his arms could get. I say, go for it, and people will forget about the gut.

QFT!

Heath could have won 9 in a row and same thing would be said

Palumboism is irreversible and heath's gut is beyond the point of no return

Hopefully he will retire so we don't have to see those god awful posing faces of his again.  It was like his expressions came from someone stepping on his hemorroids.

Phil’s arms a pretty damn good. It’s more his ribcage and torso that is showing the early signs.

If he retires now, drops the GH and insulin and just uses TRT he could maintain a really good physique for a long time like Haney and Yates.

Phil still has superior development to Rhoden if you evaluate individual body parts.  He just ruined the flow of his physique by letting his midsection go and being slightly off with his conditioning.  If he were to fix those issues, he'd beat Rhoden easily.  Can he fix those issues?  Hard to say.

Watch it. It's open season on anyone who posts threads teasing Phil about his physique or his failed marriage. I wonder how much of his $150,000 prize he sent to getbig's ownership to keep his name off the boards.  ;)

Yeah, his arms are not getting smaller. I think someone was saying that his one arm was 3 inches bigger than the other.

I bet Phil can’t sleep and is agonizing over the 250,000 he missed out on.  :D

I think he's already regretting the $25,000 he sent Ron to get him to be his hall monitor in the G&O and keep the Phil Heath threads under wraps.  ;)

It was once. It's not anymore. I think they're actively trying to lure the pros into posting here again and protecting them from harsh criticism of their physiques or personal lives is an experiment they're tinkering with at the moment. Personally, I think it's self-defeating, but hey, I don't run the joint. The pros are public figures and anything about them should be fair game other than private insider information, which is not what was deleted anyway.

Phil’s body has had enough
Looks like his body is rotting away
Manage on his head
Arms are decomposing
He looks like he smells horribly as well
