Title: Tony Pearson 1989.....more impressive than Rhoden

Rhoden looks good, but seriously guys....look at Pearsons condition and size in this video. His back is fucking nuts. How is it that Pearsons condition in 89 was the norm and now the O winners have no graininess. Just smooth and lean. Sad.

You're absolutely right. Nowadays he could have just injected some SEO's into his calves, vastus lateralis, etc., then he'd fit right in with the cookie-cutter pros of today.

Seems like a lot of guys from that era had trouble building big quads. But nowadays seems like everyone is waddling around with huge quads. Seems like the quads and delts are the muscle groups that have gotten insanely huge compared to the old days.

Oil will work in the delts but not in a large muscle group like the quads.

I remember him. Took 1st place bantamweight at the 1989 Nationals, and 2nd at the world amateurs. Sick conditioning.

Any guy who placed in the top 15 up until the early 2000's would place higher than Rhoden did this year.
