overeem is another guy who was a monster on high dosages but when he dropped the dosages way down he flopped. pro athletes have to have the genetics to thrive on the minimal dosages that beat the tests.
or they can just be like cormier and stay natty but follow the vince basille principles i.e. safety fat > steroids

I really hope he is an amazing fighter, absolutely blows everyone away how good he is. Would surprise people who are thinking he will be all image and no substance. All muscles, shaved head and facial tatts. If he was totally ferocious and knocked people out in devastating fashion! Haha be great.

Unlike other strengh athletes who migrate to combat sports, he doesn't look like a guy who can perform well in any sport, where a syringe doesn't determine the outcome.

These guys like Ford are so delusional thinking they can just change careers and dominate. Most of these mma fighters have been wrestling since junior high, boxing since high school and training full-time in martial arts or mma for years and some musclehead thinks he trains for a few months and is ready to take on the world. ::)

And this is why such people tend to be flashes in the pan if you will...
It takes years of drilling and sparring to have the reactions required in the ring at that level...

I used to work out in a boxing gym in my 20's and it was amusing to see guys start boxing as adults and decide to go pro. They would start out fighting other tomato can beginners and win and their egos would swell. The first real fighter with years of amateur experience they fought would just kick their asses all over the ring and that was the end of their stellar career. Same with mma guys.

he's just a guy who took steroids and got big muscles. all drugs
that doesn't automatically make him a fighter. steroided confidence will shatter one he gets smashed in his face.

He's got the look and guys like Undertaker and Cane didn't really have charisma, they just played the "scary" guy, same as Martyn in the Undisputed film.

Fair comment, however they came from a time when wrestling was totally different in terms of kayfabe, the big scary undead gig was easier to pull off back then. Look at how many other 'big scary' guys wwe has gone through since that made little to no impact. These guys didnt speak for a long time and the gimmic worked, Ford doesn't have the presence or raw talent to work the ring and not be on the mic.
The only one whom it has worked with in recent years is that Brawn fella, and it took a group of guys to get him over.
