Without gear he'd be 220 maybe.  Good job on the drugs!

Since Nassar won't quit, give up, retire, or face reality anybody think he is going to play with Wayne?

Thanks for saying that. I love it when even a guy with 86 posts knows that a pic has been posted and talked about to death.  Shame on you freakgeek; at 396 posts you should know better than a recycle such a tired topic.

Nasser should join PDI - the IFBB hates him and he knows it

nice pic from his university days in Germany - you can practiacally see his receptors fresh and ready for war

Anyone have the pic of nasser, ronnie , and another guy ....seemed like it was taken backstage after a show when they were still either amatures or early in their pro careers.  They looked 200-220ish

Well he is one step ahead of the rest.  Bob already trashed him on the radio show.

That pic was obviously taken before Nasser threw caution into the wind and realized the 5-10% advantage to be obtained through leaving natural-ness behind and "taking it to the next level". It would appear that Nasser's edge received through "super supplements" was closer to 10% than 5%.

That's what happens when you have pro level genetics ;D

You're quick to the draw - you quoted me before I could edit my post to try to clarify that Nasser had likely not juiced at all up to that point.

Speaking of pro-level genes, it's amazing what a 5-10% edge (which a pro will realize with 200-400 mgs per week max, of course) can do for a physique!

That 5-10% edge is huge when you consider that pros all have unbelievable genetics! If the rumors are true that some pros have broken the 400 mg per week barrier, then all bets are off!!! People also don't realize the the cumulative effects (1.05)(1.10)(1.04) for a tan, steroids and oil is a 20.12% gain!!

You mentioned breaking the 400 mg per week barrier. I recall an interview Vic Richards did with MMI many years ago. He was asked if he used steroids, and the interviewer wrote that he evasively said something like "I'm not saying I do, and I'm not saying I don't". Of course my gut feeling is that he most likely did use a little gear at one time or another. But I don't have any proof other than the fact that he didn't deny it.

But Vic also went on to say that the body can only use so much gear at a time, and if dosages are excessive, unwanted side effects and health problems can result. He also told Trevor Smith a few years ago that he favored mild anabolics and avoided androgens.

We can conclude that Vic is clearly very health conscious. So it's safe to assume that although Vic probably did use gear (he didn't deny it), he clearly used only low dosages of mild anabolics for short periods of time, which is what he felt was the safe way to use gear. Remember, he has several relatives who are doctors.

I agree. People who don't compete usually are very conservative with their use. Something tells me Trevor broke the 400 mg barrier :-\  :'(

400mg????? In Arnold's day they used 1000mg a week! Rumour has it Kovacs uses 10 000mg/week (coutesy of the deadpool). Jumbo Palumbo says that after more than 1500mg/week the only thing that increases are the side-effects.

400mg a week is practically being natural!

Most pros say they use super high doses incase they are busted. Then they can say it was all for personal use. In reality, they rarely go above 200-400 mg.

Yes, you may be right. After all, how many 425 pounders with ten percent bodyfat (and barely six feet tall) are walking the earth?
