Call me crazy, but I would prefer a President who didn't troll half the country. Its really not a game..Unless you live in another country, and then it would be like "Bring me another round!"

he trolls the country because he's:
1) exceedingly wealthy and therefore has no future career to worry about like normal Presidents
2) has the emotional maturity of a 21 year old
3) has a grudge-bearing nature on account of having to prove himself to be his own man vs his father's man in the 1980s plus seeing his casinos go bankrupt 30 years ago rubbed him the wrong way for years
4) he knows it appeals to immature and simple minded white guys with small beady eyes, scruffy goatees, that dead look Danimal77 has on his POF profile, and long white t-shirts over jeanshorts. So he gives em what they want, like Vince McMahon did to the WWE people (their feud was epic too in 2009, I'd say Trump won the crowd easily).

With the bold correction from 21 to 13 I am in complete agreement

A 13 year old would use the same name-calling as Trump, that is correct.
A 21 year old would know how to blend those very insults into economic examples, comparing America's industry to Finland's or Norway's, cracking jokes of a childish but occasionally sophisticated nature, and knowing certain words you associate with intellectuals (too many to name, but when he says something that sounds smart, you know he was speak off script).

Hey, look, we never really had a major problem at all due to politics. It was the Kavanaugh thing that united the forum Right and Center from the Left (meaning not just primemuscle, howard, straw man, but also middle-ground people who are independent, like poly and dos equis - who moved to the right). That issue divided both boards so sharply that it spawned a 33+ page thread in less than three weeks, which is a lot in a subforum where that bibles in Tennessee took four years to get to that point. For whatever reason, some of us resented the way society took Ford's side and attacked this man, and others stood by her and chose to believe she was being honest and true. It shook the entire country, dude, not just this forum. The emotional and political trauma it caused will last a LONG time. Republicans are PISSED about it and will vote accordingly. Democrats would be smart to do the same. It may be a blue wave but it has to block a red tsunami that's unleashed not just typical white people resentment but every racist, bigot, hater, beater, shooter, and generally frustrated male under his banner.

The people on the left may be bad. But I have no illusions about our side. We have some extremely nasty folks that a lot of people don't know about.

less shootings, less rapings, less DUIs, less vomit and alcohol poisonings
more sitting and thinking or typing
and just not causing issues

I recently moved to Florida. I am considering getting a medical card. Haven't tried it since May 18, 1982 but I did have a good time with it then.

Oh, well, it's all stronger/better/cheaper now. For one thing.

And second, well, I can understand the long-term abstinence due to your background and not wanting to piss hot but I figure at this point in life, it's worth a shot. Florida recognizes the right to medicinal marijuana and based on what a few card owners told me, is fairly open-minded about approving people for pretty mild conditions like joint pain or even headaches, not too complicated.

That's what Fallsview means when he refers to talking Ron into letting him design a GB Members club. He also mentioned wanting more superstars here, but only one of us (basically me) fits that exclusive sub-category, so I'd just stick to the Members club idea. In other words, a place to speak openly and frankly without interventions by non-intellectuals or people who just want to troll or spam the politics forum.

But, until this utopian boy in a bubble idea gets pushed through by the long-necked one, I'll settle for just organizing a high discussion in this forum at an agreed date and time. That WOULD be interesting. Josh gets allowed to post for at least an hour without a ban as well, hopefully high on weed also, for this experiment.

I looked into it just as a curiosity. I think I could qualify. I was never big on the war on drugs, saw it as a complete waste of money and resources but didn't want to break laws I had to enforce. But now... I am seriously contemplating it.

I think it's more like the episode where Homer tries to get it legalized by ballot but forgets to vote or show up to his own rally because he's too stoned.

Well, until something better than law enforcement comes along, we have to continue funding the war on drug dealing. However, Marijuana's time in that category has run its course. In Canada it was prohibited in 1923, before even I believe the USA, and yet it took NINETY FIVE YEARS to get it repealed. That's one hell of a long purgatory. Weed has done its fair share of time in the gutter of hard drugs like heroin or vicodin, for that matter, since legal prescriptions can and are way harder than street dope (except like meth or heroin). It's time it was legal coast to coast.

The issue America is having is that (besides the prison industry benefiting from cannabis arrests) the states rights thing is huge and makes federal law very difficult and slow to move. Remember with gay marriage plenty of Republicans would've agreed to it in the early 2000s if it had remained state by state instead of federal. Took 15 more years to get it passed to that level. So it's the same with cannabis...even if 48 states approved it, there'd be Mississippi and South Carolina saying no, we won't. So for that reason federal laws are so, so slow behind state laws.

I think the snow ball effect is happening with marijuana. It's just a matter of time before it becomes legal in all states. It will reach medical stages first. But it will happen and it should. Im actually libertarian when it comes to drugs. I don't care if you want to take X or a molly (SAME THING}, or shoot heroin. I just care if you break into my home to supply your habit. I was for decriminalizing drugs 15 years ago when I saw we were just spinning our wheels and filling jails with non violent offenders.

There may come a time when all fifty states decriminalize it (which is what happened, by the way - it isn't legal in those "legal" states, it's illegal federally but decriminalized state-wide) but removing it from the DEA's schedule will require Congress and possibly the Supreme Court as well (for those states that sue against it, of which many will) to rule in its favor. That is a LONG time away because of how slow major changes in America go through.

I like the Canadians and all, but they're not American. They don't understand how locked into tradition and how varied our positions and views are based on where you live. It wasn't easy to legalize weed over there, either, the law in Canada was even stricter than in the U.S. when it came to punishment. 1 gram could get you 6 months in jail.

I am aware of the difference between legal and decriminalized. I think within the next 20 years pot will become legal. Decriminalization is the first step. But I am a bit of a rebel when I advocate focusing on behavior not drugs. For example, if you want to sit at home, or at a party and snort coke, and you can sustain that habit without committing crimes, then it is your body, your right. Same for any drug really. I hate the idea of government controlling what I can do. I understand that if I do it and drive, or commit a crime to support it that it crosses the line but until then, leave me alone. I read an article years ago that stated if we were to divert money we spent trying to stiffle the drugs, which impacts the drug trade by about 1%, and we are talking billions, into treatment for those with addictions, we could save a vast amount of money. I would like to try that since we know this war just isn't getting much bang for its buck.

The argument that street drugs, which are illegal to purchase, sell, or possess, pose a greater risk to the health of the population than the hundreds of millions of powerful chemical sedatives, barbiturates, narcotics, and mood-stabilizers that are abusively over-subscribed and often sold in the same street as the drugs that are put in a bad category while those pills are OK since many mothers use them for that bad arm that never seems to heal is my biggest issue with the objectives of the war on drugs. ::)

But marijuana has done its time on the illegality list. It's a mind altering substance, absolutely so, and guess what, many other things are, as well, and they're not dangerous or illegal. The classic example would be lower-strength alcohols used in moderation, which have been consumed for a long fucking time through history. Well, so has marijuana, and for some it's a better fit personality wise or physically than booze. In my case, alcohol makes me easily pissed off, verbally abusive, and resentful of other people, and negative. Other people just want to party or laugh or do whatever positive thing they do. So for me, it's not a great choice and I stay away from it. But on cannabis I'm a pretty normal, tolerant person. I'm more creative. I do it when I feel like it and don't when I don't feel like it. It's pretty much a great substance and should be legal for adults to use recreationally. It's time other countries besides Uruguay and Canada started doing it.

He can troll whoever he wants, its modern day life unfortunately. Never before has a US president been so attacked by loonies.
So he fights back.
The world is shit-show, he just happens to run it.
Pissing off crazy libtards is hysterical. If main stream media played fair, and didnt bury the Dem shenanigans, and put out fake Trump BS, things would equal out a bit.
(Centralize.. Centrist).
So far left and looney (media), its beyond embarrassing. I think normal old-school Dem's are fine, modern day whack-jobs?? (ANTIFA, bully thugs) not so much..

2016 humbled him. For all his bravado and his sanguinary confidence that his ivy league education, acknowledged debating prowess, and prestige in a huge southern state would carry him to the nomination, he was beaten soundly by a political adventurer and rank outsider who lacks his vocabulary or his wholesome background. Because the moment Ted started to talk to the audience, they forgot about him at the 2016 RNC convention as the spotlight switch to Trump's grand arrival; in fact, most booed because he didn't outrightly suppose the nominee. This clip shows the same thing. He was hated by the people and he knows it. Without a Trump, he'd be political bacon vs. a handsome, younger, much more hip and popular guy like Beto. Only the Trumpster can save his behind and he knows it, which lowers his prestige and social status even more.

The UK's illegal drug industry is booming thanks to its antiquated laws supported by that old maid who calls herself the PM of the country and dances badly in the African style that offends so many of her black countrymen. Hahahahah. At least lift the ban on steroids, but do weed as well since that makes the grayness of life in the UK more tolerable.

I fully agree with this!
