Hello I Am FALLSVIEW
Saw a sweet tat with the saying, "Only God Can Judge Me."
Thinking about putting it on my forearm so its easily visible to people everywhere.
Think it shows that I don't care what they think...and conveys a message of "don't judge me."
Artist wants $595 for black bold lettering outlined in fuchsia.
Ready to pull the trigger...should I?
Thanks in advance.

whatever you do, make it look great.
And get something better than Straw Man's tattoo:

Yes, a truly original quotation. Never see it tattooed on anyone, ever.
It is so unique and a great idea I’d suggest having the ink done across your forehead.

Someone did a much better job with that idea.

Get a tatoo of Jason Huh on your back and have it captioned "SF1900".

I got some tattoos when I was around 18 to 20.
Wish I hadn't. Fix'n to get them removed at some point.

Nah, you won't man. The pain is so excruciating and the number of sessions needed to truly remove is so numerous you'll throw in the towel like I did after 3-4 visits.

They've got a new technology that is supposed to be much faster requiring less sessions but still very painful. I know a few guys that tried to get the prison ink off their neck, they claimed the pain was infinitely worse than getting it put on. LOL

Depending what your goal is, might be easier to do a few sessions to lighten it up then have it covered with something else.

The pain of getting a tattoo removed is nothing compared to the pain of this pointless existence. I look forward to it.

Encourage you to put sometning YOU stand for as opposed to something that someone else came up with... Wouldn't get tattoo anyway as its confirmist now...was counterculture and unique in 70s..people even arrested for tattoos in New york late 70s punk movement
But now....When 16 year old girls are going to the mall for their butterfly tattoo, its been swallowed up by corporate culture..nothing I want part of
But if you really want one...it will be part of you..should represent you.."Only God can judge me" is sold as patches at Walmart from the Army....was a Tupac song too...you can't think of a special phrase or thought that represents your own identity?
-
you can't go wrong with this one.

How about a "I'm Alex, about as funny as malignant testicular cancer" inked where everyone could see?
You are one weird dude.

Get a tribal tattoo. That 'll show everyone you re not to be messed with.

I saw a bloke with a "choose life" tattoo and asked him about it.
He said he loved trainspotting the movie and got it. I told him that the whole choose life thing in that movie was ironic and they were taking the piss out of that saying, to the point where they chose not to choose life.
The sheer panic on his face was priceless. Do your homework kids.

I can’t even fathom the mental illness one must suffer to decide to tattoo the likeness of another man (posing in a battle thong, no less) onto his body.
Guy should be put into a rubber room.

Want advice? Don't get one. They just aren't cool anymore. It shows your a conformist. When you go to the beach and look at a whole family that have tattoos you will see what I'm talking about clearly. Sitting together will be grandma, grandpa, mom, pop and teenage kids all with ink. Just yesterdays fad. When I was young only military guys and bikers had them. Now everyone does.

Plus it makes you look like a low-life which is not a good career move.

1) Most tattoos can be hidden.
2) The majority of jobs do not care if their employer has tattoos.
In sum, tattoos basically do not affect one's career, unless you have them on your face, neck, or forehead.

A former board member had something similar to this design. On his shoulder Thought it was pretty badd ass

This tat is mega cool:

Question: If they are so acceptable why do you have to hide them?
Answer: Because they make you look like a low-life and your white collar employer doesn't want the public to think low-life's work for him.

Yet, I’ve seen teachers, accountants, computer scientists, engineers, financial advisers, lawyers, nurses and medical doctors, all with visible tattoos.
::mind blown::
Further, you simply said getting a tattoo is not a good career move. And I pointed out that as long as one can cover them, it won’t affect their career. Thus, it’s not necessarily a bad career move, as long as they can be covered.
So, both your arguments fall apart.

How does them having those occupations justify their incredibly stupid decision to permanently deform their skin with a stupid graphic that deteriorates in quality every time you go outside on a sunny day and which they have to explain every time someone asks them about it in their personal lives? I don't know many Fortune 500 CEOs, U.S. senators, or top-tier actors (other than conehead Dwayne Johnson) covered in ink, either. Aim higher. Your bar is set way too low with those faceless nobodies with 4 year degrees anyone can get.

Tattoos used to be cool, now they are just bumper stickers every millenial and soccer mom wants to have because they are popular and sheeple can show them on social media. It will be easier to identify the bodies in the future though. So there is a positive side to it.

Tattoos seem very acceptable these days. Much more mainstream then in the past. The content of the tattoo is something someone should put a lot of thought into. Your more likely to be judged by what the tattoo(s) depicts.
The veterinary surgeon who took care of my dog had full sleeves on both arms. Of course he owns the business so he can pretty much do what he wants tattoo-wise.

Flash forward to 30 to 40 years in the future, you see all these 70 and 80 year olds at the beach thinking they're still cool with their sleeve tattoos. Haha. Women will look even worse. Just my two cents worth.

Beautiful art.

There is some rogue federation powerlifting event at my gym. Last night one of the participants, a young female, waltzed in, sporting grand face and neck tattoos.
Obviously very mentally ill. Swept up in her temporary subculture frenzy, thinking it’s all so great.
Wonder just how soon in the future she’ll break down in the realization of such a cataclysmic mistake.

Nice work, but a tattoo of this fellow in a bunny suit would have been more humorous on your arm. You should have had the nude selfie tattooed on your butt instead.

They are also tattooed.

All people at that age look like shit. Tattoos at that age may actually be an improvement as the eye naturally focuses on the ink and not the flab and loose skin.

I don't have any tattoos, but my skin is losing elasticity little by little. I cannot envision how tattoos would be an improvement. Wouldn't they look distorted and unless one had them freshened up, don't they fade over time?
-
How was her T&A ???
She was “thick”, not in a good way, and her babooms (not “baboons”, chocolate faces) were underproportioned.
The broad walked around with a scowl, like she was tough or something.

Getting tats when old probably would be an improvement as people focus on the ink instead of everything else. I may get a bunch of tats when I am like 60 or so for that reason. Look at Sly and his fresh tats at an old age. By the time they fade he will be dead.
-

Sly appears to have aged well, better than Arnold. The tattoos might have something to do with this or it could be his Italian heritage. He's also known to have used GH in the past. Does that affect skin tone?
-
GH definitely effects skin tone and elasticity and Sly uses a lot of it.

You're right. Thanks for your post. I looked it up The tattoo mural of his wife covers a burst vein. Over the years he's had several injuries that left scars which he's had covered with some of his many tattoos.

I believe you were correct.
Too me that guy's ink looks faded and less sharp. It's just a photo with no info. Possibly, he's had them touched up. I heard the more colorful tattoos lose color and some colors fade faster than others. Folks who are out in the sun should protect their tattoos from exposure because it will degrade them faster. I've also heard all ink eventually fades to blue. -Can't see how that is possible with lighter colors, but then I have zero personal experience with tattoos.
Here's a photo of one that's really lost clarity:

Goodmorrow I Am FALLSVIEW
Hey Yuk Mouth,
The tattoo is Lombardic Script, Cresci Rotunda which is very difficult to do. Also, I'm getting the ink extracted from one of Carey Hart's motorcycle burnouts...at a very hefty price. I know a guy that has two bottles of it. The problem is my forearms are bigger than the average male so the artist might have to dilute the ink with another product that is from a Himalayan village made by monks for monks. It has never seen the light of day in society.
You look like the Phantom Of The Opera on a good day. Seriously...you are the spitting image of that Goblin. Tell me were you his stunt double in the 1920's movie?
