Seems like the locker room at 24 Hour Fitness is pretty exciting.

I went to the one near LAX in Inglewood (or close to it). It was a nice, clean gym with friendly staff and relatively new equipment. The LA Fitness at the top of Cahuenga blvd. W over the 101 is much nice and more state-of-the-art, while the Hollywood branch of LA Fitness is rather crowded and the people aren't as friendly.

I used to go to 24 Hour Fitness in Pembroke Pines years ago. For being a chain gym, it was pretty dingy and not at all glittery, and I loved it. The middle of the night was the best time to go, although one review I read on yelp said it felt like working out in Broward County Jail.
