Whats the best place in your area. There's a complete butthole of a place called zatecas by my old job in San Bernardino. I think it had a C rating by the health board. But damn it was good.
What say you getbig?

Shitloads of good places in southwest Detroit. But, I've recently discovered Salvadoran food which to my taste buds is much better than Mexican.

What is salvadorian food like?

Papusa's are their signature dish. Pretty simple really. Basically a flatbread stuffed with the items of your choosing. It is served with a spicy cole slaw and a salsa like sauce. You place a scoop of slaw and a splash of sauce on it then eat it. Their rice and beans are good and their plantains are a very good compliment as well. Don't order tamale's from a Salvadoran restaurant. They are not very good in my opinion. 2-3 papusa's, rice, beans and plantains and I am stuffed. Dirt cheap as well.

C health rating might as well be an A for most of these places. If it's still open they passed. :-\

no, it'll just create a migrant crisis in their toilet bowl when they pinch out 3-4 Muslim refugees in an explosive bout of Islamic diarrhea.

TRESTACO, Can you refer me to a great Mexican restaurant in LV.?
I've tried a few but each of them seemed to be lacking the enchalada flavors of long ago throughout California.
And off track here but how about great raviolis? I can find them any more?

Ninfa's over Pappasitos ? Both are chains, I haven't had Ninfa's in 15 years but Pappasitos shrimp enchiladas and tenderloin fajitas are hard to beat

Leticia's is fantastic. She won awards for her tacos. I've been there once with a local friend and was not disappointed. it was 430 S Rampart blvd.

Might as well hit Tommy's too for some chili cheese fries and a double cheeseburger with extra chili
Mmmmmm
-
TONS of Tex-Mex places here Tejas.
I'd reckon that some place in San Antonio has the best.
-
Guess you haven't tried Peruvian?
Peruvian is phenomenal. Venezuelan is good too.
-
AGNOSTIC, Leticia's ...... I'll give it a try but Im not much of a outside restaurant Taco fan as I make some pretty incredable Tacos here at home.
I'll be looking for their enchaladas which are difficult to find nowasays as great as they used to be.
Pollo Loco is not an authentic Mexican fast food chain but the offer a hell of an incredible salad (Chicken and Avacado Salad in a Taco Bowl)which I always order 3 t0 4 times a month.
Add some of the sauces that are available on the counter for taco orders and it's one hell of a healthy and saisfying meal
-
AGNOSTIC, I found LETICIA's website and was on way there for an Enchala lunch but suddenly realized that it was way over on the eastern side of town and one more Leticia's was furthe north (there are two) so I decided that I'd postphone that enchalada with a couple of Margaritas for a later day.
Thanks for the recommendation though and I am serious when I say I'll be there soon ... which I cannot say in Spanish/Mexican.
Could be 'Asta Las vista!' but what the hell do I know.
PS. What's the difference between Spanish / Mexican?

I had the Chile Relleno didn't have tacos. Like you said, tacos are hard to buy at a restaurant because they are easy to make. There are exceptions but thats a good rule. I don't think you will be disappointed at this place.

Agreed. I like Ninfa's over Papasitos in the Houston, Texas market.
In Louisiana, I went to some Mexican restaurant and they put gray gravy over a enchilada. I never saw that before and it was so ugly. Didn't want to eat it and was afraid of diarhea.
