This is a man who prefers to buy videogames than to buy a decent mattress and bed.
EDIT: my analogy about this guy going days without eating was not realistic.

Dude obviously doesnt miss any meals. We all got our hobbies. Some rebuild classic cars, others get videa games, others spend their hard earned money on used,soiled thongs (not me). To each their own.

Better to have hobbies such as rebuilding classic cars/video games/collecting stamps etc instead of purchasing soiled thongs imo.

I mean, it's either you spend thousands on gear to win a plastic trophy and the possibility of making maybe $500 if you win the overall... all the while destroying your live. Or waste all your money on something that you can at the very least sell in the future and make some money off of it, I'd say big Reggie is winning here! lol
Also, his collection isn't even very impressive IMO. Check out the "Immortal John Hancock" on youtube or the "Last Gamer" if you want to have your mind blown with a video game collection!

Lucky bastard had a copy of Stadium Events! Without that game, his auction would have gone for less than $100 lol.
The vast majority of items depreciate significantly from their original retail price, but if you can get them for bargain bin prices after their consoles lifetime is over, they typically either hold that value or increase in value, especially if you keep them sealed.
Granted I don't think CD based games will ever be as collectable/valuable as cart based games from the past. The only really valuable modern games are the extremely limited edition special releases and NBA Elite 11, which was so god damn bad that they pulled the games back from retailers and only a few copies were stolen by staff. lol

I agree. I also think there's a problem with CD-based consoles.
The lens on CD-based consoles die relatively easy, while cartdrige-based consoles are pretty much inmortal.
I had a PS2 years ago, I had to change the lens twice in less than 5 years of use. Granted, I don't think this is very typical, but still, its lifespan is waaaay shorter than a Super Nintendo's. It's still fairly easy to get new lens for your PS2 or PS3, but 20 years in the future? Who knows...

Reggie is MUCH better than Tyrone that's out there dealing drugs, gangbanging, tagging graffitti, and robbing people.

Haha yes good point, the fact he said he’d happily not eat in order to purchase a computer game when he could easily just loot one while partaking in the latest local chimp out suggests reggie is a fine gentleman indeed
