Ridiculous.
I turn the station when that song comes on, but only because it sucks, not in the name of "social justice."

So songs about killing people, dealing drugs etc are okay but this song isn’t? This shit has to be an “onion” article, right? ???

Coach:
I read the entire article the author linked in response to the radio station's actions. It was a short, but great read PROVING that there are even feminists who think banning the song is beyond stupid.

Get a fucking CD

More safe spaces, more trigger warnings, more coddling, will lead to the destruction of the human mind and free speech.

Good ole Vince. As society gets co-opted by SJW's, he retreats into his safe space. How about we play whatever we effin want on the radio instead. Be a man, will ya?

I took the radio out of my Ferrari because even when it's off the government can still broadcast subliminal messages through the air waves.
They won't do that to me.

Just Rush.

Next up...Paradise by the Dashboard Light.

Sounds like ONE listener complained about it.
It is probably the same listener that wound ban any book that they think of not good for others like The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The Catcher in the Rye, by JD Salinger. The Grapes of Wrath, by John Steinbeck. To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee. The Color Purple, by Alice Walker. Ulysses, by James Joyce. Beloved, by Toni Morrison. The Lord of the Flies, by William Golding.
While there are some books that truly promote hate or truly or racist, these song nor these books are not.
Sometimes the PC movement is way out of line, over one freaking listener, who can easily change the channel.

Who gives a fuck about a radio station banning a song when you can play it anytime. Besides it is technically a date rape song
-
Almost as bad as the faggots that whined till the “little faggot with his earring and his makeup” was removed from the money for nothing song

If you’re referring to the “what’s in this drink” line, she’s talking about telling the truth. It’s a saying, suggesting that it’s the booze making her tell the truth. Other than that, I just see a chivalrist trying to keep a female from catching cold. It’s white knighting if anything.

Totally ruined that song. The people who complained weren't even born when that song was popular.

Your right mate it completely ruins it when it’s played on the radio, it’s like the intro lasts for ages since they cut out that bit and it repeats the same bit twice in a row
