That must be a brutal business to be a part of.

He will live on. In all of our hearts.

I re-watch videos from some of the early Wreslemania events and am shocked at how many of these fellows have died.

Decades in a wheel chair....hope it was worth it for him:

the usual heart problems with extreme wear and tear form wrestling.....and continuing too long?

I read Billington's book (Dynamite) dude was insane.
Injected milk into Dave Smith (Bulldog) telling him it was roids. Liked to bully people, until Rugeau brother punched him in the mouth (suckered him) with a handfull of a quarter-roll) knocked out many teeth.
(He never did bother Rugeau again)... Lots of crazy stories, good read...

Yeah a lot of people get the two mixed up. PIP for both.

His early work in Japan was great.

Great wrestler. Surprised he actually lived as long as he did given how shitty his life would become. RIP.

Who cares. Little kids die everyday, that’s a tragedy.

He really was a prick/bully... Karma...

There was a startup for a movie about him years ago...not sure if it was ever made but looked really interesting. Hard guy....Ended up in wheelchair and they asked what he would say if a young kid asked if he should do steroids..he said "Do what you fookin want"..in that dry British accent...funny..
Seemed an interesting interview and story although all that knew him said he was a miserable, mean person.
If movie was ever made looked good.

Dynamite Kid was one of the greatest wrestlers ever. His technical skill, speed and high flying moves were on another level. His matches with Tiger Mask in Japan are probably some of the best in wrestling.
Bret Hart also rates Dynamite as the greatest wrestler ever in terms of skill.
In terms of influence, he also changed wrestling, bringing in a faster style with high flying moves. It was no longer a show just for very large wrestlers.
