And Donald Pleasence in the classic "the changing of the guard". Playing an old schoolteacher who is forced to retire and feels worthless and contemplates suicide until the ghosts of his former students who died during the war appear and convince him he was a great guy. :)

Twilight Zone sucks.
I'm watching Gilmore Girls now.
-
Love it since I was a kid and have seen all 256 episodes multiple times. ScyFy making up for blowing the marathon off on July 4.
-
Watch a Twilight Zone Marathon at least once every year.
-
"The Lonely" is my favorite. I was skimming through the line-up and I think it's on late tonight.

I agree. It is excellent and reminds me (to a slight degree) of one of my favorite SF stories, "Helen O' Loy". Jean Marsh was a very beautiful young woman.

I think my favorite is An Occrence at Owl Creek. Amazing cinematography for the time, as well as smart storytelling.

I agree. Do you know the backstory on that episode? It's pretty interesting.

I own the Twilght Zone box set as well as "Alfred Hitchock Presents"............oddly enough,"An Occurence At Owl Creek is also on AHP but it is a different version equally as well done but slightly different.

Constant TZ marathon in this house, wife plays it on a loop on Netflix or Hulu or one of those channels while she's working.
I have a Mystic Seer, here in my home office (my favorite episode).
-
Are they playing the hour long episodes from season 4?

nope
-
I almost feel as if I`m in The Twilight Zone or I have a strange feeling of Deja Vu..............better go check if my wife still looks like my wife or if my stop watch still works.
-
This year I’m working on a sculpture of Haley the cook from the episode “Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up”. I also want to make my own invaders if I can get a foam latex oven made. Oh and I’d like to finish Willy the Dummy as well.
-
"The Lonely" and "The After Hours" are on tonight. Good.
-
Gotta love these "marathons", they are a great way to watch television shows you've previously enjoyed or catchup on them before a new season begins. I don't think Twilight Zone will be comning back anytime soon. But, you never know what the networks will do. Another cool thing about watching some marathons is that you can fast forward through all the commercials. A half hour show ends up being only 20 minutes long. :(
-
"Ever so much fun.
Ever so much fun."
-
To serve man
-
I love a number of episodes.
But I think "The Howling Man" may be the best.
-
The problem with watching the Sci-Fi channel marathons (Every New Year's Eve and Fourth of July) is that they are really edited down to make room for the extra commercials. ::) :P
Netflix has every season except the hour long episodes from season four.
All perfect. All uncut. 8)

That's the one where the Devil is kept in a locked room until freed by an unwitting moron, correct? Great episode! I like the one with Jack Warden titled "The Lonely" as it reminds me somewhat of a favorite SciFi short story, "Helen O'Loy".

Correct.
Father Jerome is played by John Carradine.
