Paris` aesthetics make him look like a piece of living sculpture.

Todays pros including Heath and Rhoden look like big gutted abominations by comparison.

And forget even trying to compare the posing ability of Bob compared to around 99 3/4 of todays bodybuilders.

Good posing?

He didn't even raise his hands to his ears and demand the audience start cheering for him - not once. How can you call that good posing?

Incredible posing routine by Benafatto and an incredible physique. Wish bodybuilding could get back to that instead of the soft bloated guys in the Olympia today. Didn't know too much about him. He wrote as a teenager he was a boxing champion in France and won bench power lifting competitions. He also competed in horse dressage jumping. Sounds like he was really into tri sets.

I agree.  What passes for a bodybuilder today is poo gas.  Paris got ripped off and should have been a Mr. Olympia at least once or twice but no, the schmoes were promoting mASS.  Same with Labrada - ripped off for some clown (Haney - Yeah, I said it - Haney) with more mASS.

Now we have buttpuppets taking the dais and as said elsewhere, cupping the hand to their hear to encourage the deviants to squeal all the more.

FUCK THAT NOISE.

Have not kept track lately, but I believe Men's Classic competion was intended to bring back the type of physique that both Benfatto and Paris had in them good old days.

Is that happening yet?

1990 Mr. Olympia!! I was there.

As was I!

I met Benfatto, Ron Love, Samir Banout, Troy Zuccolotto, Momo Benaziza, Andreas Münzer, and Robert Kennedy there.

I took a nice pic of Juliette Bergmann with Erica Mes.  Juliette was bending over and thrusting her hips one way and another when I showed up at her/their booth.
