Mike Tyson is one of the most interesting guys in the world.

you can tell he still has no control over his emotions and actions  when he speaks from time to time. would make for a very uncomfortable party friend.

JR podcasts are mostly good but some are just lessened by how high he gets. Pretty ironic since he can't see the impairment while he's pushing weed and DMT acceptance in every episode.

In the podcast Tyson said a few times that he wants to forget his boxing past and doesn't want to talk about it anymore.

But Rogan kept bringing up how great a boxer he was etc, and you could see the irritation on Tyson's face.

Tyson is known as possibly the most exciting boxer ever so obv people want to know about that.

I listen to tons of JRE but couldn't get through 20 minutes with Mike slurring while that fat guy cradled his nutsack.

Meh, not as good for me, as some made it out to be.

Joe Rogan has had better guests on before. Joe also responds better to the right kind of guests. With Tyson, he was a little starstruck, as you can tell that he looked up to the guy at one point as some sort of mythical fighter. When he pitched the idea of Tyson smoking weed with the guests at the Tyson Ranch, while also holding boxing classes for them, you can tell that was suggested out of his own desire to possibly share in that experience. He is a true fight fan and would take much pleasure in learning from the greatest warriors of our time. I don't blame him for feeling that way, as professional fighting has given him a good life, by way of his role as a commentator, but it made it difficult for him to be his usual self when interviewing Tyson.

For me, I find that the best version of Rogan is when he interviews his friends on the podcast (Joey Diaz, Bryan Callen, Bill Burr, Ari Shaffir etc).
