Title: would rather tear it down.
Post by: funk51 on January 25, 2019, 03:29:31 PM
:o   the crime rate is  soaring, there is a homeless problem. yet allentown would rather tear down the mental health hospital consisting of 38 buildings. does any one see a correlation here. by the way they used this facility and the surrounding grounds to shoot the new movie " glass".

Many states have been doing this over the last 30 years.  Philly used to have a place called Byberry Mental Asylum, later changed to Byberry Mental Hospital.   The patients were abused, tortured and endured horrible living conditions.  They said the place was haunted.  It was abandon and torn down many years ago.  Guess what's there now?... condos and townhomes.  Yikes.

We use to keep these mentally ill in warm beds with food. Now they are living in the streets crapping on the side walk in San Francisco.  Which was the kinder option?

Of course but it’s vacant, they are not going to allow anyone to stay in it anyway. So might as well turn it into something else for use.

golds gym
Even at it's peak, bodybuilding couldn't really support a Gold's Gym on the east side of Allentown.  Maybe open another Pathmark or expand Stahley's

Why tear it down?  Those buildings look like they are in great condition and we need the space for all the liberals going crazy over Trump.

Those buildings would likely house less than 0.01 percent of the Liberals suffering mental problems
Currently over Donald.

allentown area used to have 3 gold's gym now one has closed and one was forced to relocate down the road due to negative publicity. see south mall gold's steroid bust
