To date, cognitive dissonance has been the standard reaction, but, if the left lets Muslims have a voice they’re going to actually have to deal with this situation. The reality is that Muslims are most anti gay group on the planet, followed by blacks and Hispanics.
Once again, it shows the nature of the left, disparate groups who don’t like each other.

This sort of gay/muslim alliance is out of convenience to get rid of the western white man and hopefully they fail. Should they succeed however, the muslims will start persecuting and murdering the homos. The left will be brutally dealt with once the muslims have enough numbers.

The simplistic view of identity politics is that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. This example is where it falls apart.
Examples in history: Western alliance with the Soviet Union for WWII, CIA assisting the Taliban in Afganistan. Doesn't end well.
