York Barbell makes solid dumbbells to #150.
Most gyms buy SDH handles -
https://www.ironcompany.com/cap-barbell-sdh-pro-style-dumbbell-handles .
https://yorkbarbell.com/product/york-solid-dumbbell-handles-sdh/ .
The number equals the number of plates you can get on each side so SDH 1 = is a dumbbell with 1 plate on each side, while a SDH 10 has 10 a side.
NY Barbell sells all types of handles for big dumbbells too - https://www.newyorkbarbells.com/dumbells.html .
Also you might try and find 12 1/2lb plates, they're a little hard to find, but they work well for making up big dumbbells.

As to where to find big dumbbells there are plenty on Getbig.
Killed lower back due to heavy barbell rows for years and barbell shrugs I never liked.Dumbbell rows don’t hurt my lower back and dumbbell shrugs feel much better.i use gorilla tape to make big dumbbells now by taping plates on the sides of my 120s and 140s but it’s just a pain in the ass to change them all the time.would like 200s cause they look fucking awesome and would just be to shrug and row.

Expensive for what they are but will do the job best, a local fab shop or a friend with access to a lathe should be able to make some for a fraction of the price, had a half done pair in my locker at my old job that I lost before I got a chance to finish just needed to make the collars but it’s an easy job for someone with access to a workshop

the ones I have are 15cm holding length - that is they will take two 25kg and a collar either side - whither that is useful is another matter as the diameter of the discs limits use.

Buy two of these from Walmart and load them up. I use them for farmers walk.

Yeah man, I bought those exact handles for the same reasons as you. I could get (3) 25's and a 10 on each side total. BUT, my gyms plates seem thicker than others I've seen. I believe if your gym has the thinner style 25's, 4 of them may fit. And I used the spring type collars to support the weight since they take up the least amount of space. Buy some and see what happens, much cheaper than those huge dumbells and you could just return them if it doesn't work.

i was looking at buying these adjustable dumbbells a few year ago. i think you can make them go up to around 75kg per hand....saves having tons of different size dumbbells hanging around. but they are pretty pricey and even more pricey to get them in the UK. so i didn't bother inn the end.
