Holy shit dude, this thing is a miracle product. It totally shits on the regular version. So easy to clean. Only had it a week so I don't know how durable it is, but I expect it will be awesome.
If you cook a shit-ton of chicken breasts like I do, then do yourself a favor and buy one of these. $30 at Wally World.

i wonder what kinda deal george got, if he gets a percentage of every item sold
-
He's a pretty shrewd dude for someone punchy enough to name all four of his sons George. And a daughter Georgetta.
-
I heard Foreman got mega bucks from this deal. Not sure how much, but I heard it was a lot.

Never heard of this type of grill Rogan is talking about. A Pellet Grill? Sounds great. Does anybody use this?

For me, no. If you don't have access to firewood maybe buying pellets is the way to go. But that's essentially the same hinged 55 gal drum you'd make for $10 and not have to plug in.

Have yet to see that copper grill, but we have a copper frying pan which works well. Cooked food slides off easily and washing it is effortless.
Will look for George's grill this week.

Can this thing cook a small to medium sized steak of decent (say 3/4") thickness and a pound or so in weight? They're sold out in my area but they will make more.

Sister and husband have one similar. My brother in law cooked burgers and chicken wings with it for a family visit, and they were both amazing. Huge difference in flavor over a traditional outdoor gas grill. You can get different types of pellets for smoking/grilling meats to get different flavors. If you have the money and space, and are a grilling enthusiast I'd say it's the way to go.

Always found these kind of grills to smoke up the kitchen.

It’s easier to maintain temp on long smokes with these pellet grills. I will put s shoulder in and go away for 4 hours and know it will maintain temp. They even make pellets with small amounts of charcoal if that’s your thing. I still prefer a Weber grill for steaks, burgers. My pellet grill I use for chicken thighs breasts and legs., ribs, pork shoulder, fish.

id rather put grass clippings in the oven with a lttle olive oil

The trick to cleaning a grill or metal surface is to clean when the unit is still hot but with the power off (Straight after you remove the meat), and use a wet sponge. The water in the sponge flashes into steam and steam cleans the surface. It's too easy. This also works for pans etc.
compound word....dishwasher....

If you want to combine fire plus an electric heating element then more power to you but I wouldn't leave it alone. That sucker gets out of control and melts the wood you're gonna have molten timber all over the patio. Try explaining that one to the wife!

I have an old one relegated to waffle duty. Might go to sears and buy one of these copper ones.

I hear you. I always leave it out in the middle of the driveway. Just in case.

I had one...Sure, drains the fat out but also drains out the juices which makes meat taste good.

True, but for me speed and ease of use is the most important thing.
Season them shits with some Cajun spices, slap them on the Foreman, and 9 minutes later you are good to go. Almost no prep or clean up time.
