Title: How long is creatine good for?
Post by: tweeter on April 15, 2006, 01:45:18 PM
I just found a tub of creatine that is probably about a year old but it doesn't have an expiration date on it. Just wondering how long creatine usually last and if its okay to use.

Its a powder  I doubt that it could expire.  Creatines cheap and there are newer creatine products out there.  Throw it out and just buy some new stuff.

I found some s**t that was 10 months old once, started taking it and it pumped me up.  I don't think powder expires either.

I dont think it does really either.  It should still keep its effectiveness. I hear creatine only looses its potency if left in liquid form for more than a short time.

usually creatines list a shelf life of about 3 years.  Of course this is all subjective as to where it was stored, temperature., and such.

If it's chunking together.....just toss it.....creatine's dirt cheap
