RIP. David Kimmerle passed away on February 5th
"The family of David Kimmerle would like to thank all of you for your love and concern. David passed away on February 5th. We don’t know all of the details at this point in time, but we do know that it was not intentional. Toxicology reports will reveal more. To put to rest some of the rumors circulating: David had lots of friends and family reaching out to him, but in Dave’s own words, “I think sometimes with an audience, really getting to know personal truths is more difficult, so because I set out with sincerity in my heart to find out these things in my life, I could not take anyone with me.”

I keep trying to figure out what to say.. some eloquent way to put my words. But my heart is shattered into so many pieces and my brain is all over the place. So, instead I will just spit it out. My brother, David Kimmerle, passed away earlier this week on the 5th of February.
A lot of people know him as an incredibly accomplished fitness model and Actor. I think most of you on my page know him for that but also know him for so much more. He was everything. Along with beauty came intelligence, an incredible sense of humor, and someone who would be there for anything you needed and could build/lift you up with just a few words. You never left David without knowing exactly what he thought, which made him the real genuine deal. There are many handsome "perfect" pictures of David that you can find by googling his name. I want to share my David. My brother..The brother I laughed with, fought with, cried with, the one who bailed me out of more “situations” than I can count. The brother who I spent many late nights talking about the meaning of life with.. the one who knew all of my demons and still loved me fiercely. Our David. The real one.
I know you might hear things.. and if you do, please do not spread gossip or negativity. Please just come to the family for answers. When we have them, we will share. If any of you have pictures, memories or anything you would like to share, please share them here, or by E-mailing me at alikim222@gmail.com. I want to collect everything I can to have all I can. Hug your loved ones a little closer tonight. And always always always remember to never leave a conversation without letting them know exactly how much they mean to you.

Agreed. So first of all PIP to the guy and respect to his family, etc.
That said, she made a point of referencing awaiting the outcome of the toxicology report, so I'm thinking either:
- accidental alcohol OD because he hardly ever drank and was unused to it, or
- accidental opiod OD due to that wave of fentanyl contamination sweeping the states, or
- as a real outsider some kind of dieting compound OD like DNP or something exotic and cutting edge...
41 is no age to go... :(

He admitted to a history of substance abuse but had cleaned up his act a long time ago with the help of his bodybuilding. Abusive biological parents, loving adoptive family. Maybe a relapse. If so, that is sad. RIP

Well yes, although not a deeply drug ridden physique. Not the first bodybuilder to use the bodybuilding regime as a crutch to escape from deeper forms of drug abuse. Most families would chose the bodybuilding regime way before the other.
