A WhatsApp game called the “Momo Challenge” has recently resurfaced in the United Kingdom. The creepy challenge known as the “Momo game,” or “Momo Challenge,” typically comes from a stranger and asks children to engage in horrific acts, but from behind the disguise of “Momo,” which is a woman’s scary face and stringy, black hair atop a bird’s body.
The app asks children to complete tasks that include the youngsters to inflict harm upon themselves and provide photographic evidence so they can continue the game. If the participant doesn’t play along, they’ll be “cursed,” according to the app.
The game’s end happens when the app tells the player to take their own life and record it for the world to see.
The game became popular internationally in 2018, and it gained notoriety last August when it led to the death of a 12-year-old boy in Argentina, according to this CBS report.
According to this report in Great Britain’s The Independent, the use of scary figures to lure children into self-mutilation or worse could be a front backed by hackers into the worldwide web.
"Even basic open source research suggests that 'Momo' is run by hackers who are looking for personal info," police from Northern Ireland said in The Independent. "Whatever or whoever is behind it, there is no disputing the content being sent is horrendous.”

Disgusting fucking people out there.

Literally just heard about this and now everyone is talking about it. Even tried to find it on YouTube but really hard to actually find what originally started it. I don't know anyone that uses WhatsApp. It originally started from that then? Is it really smart to be promoting/talking about it as much as it has gotten on FB? It makes me interested to see what all the talk is about.
Edit: got it now. Videos are getting hacked and it is not an actual video on YouTube.

Yawn. This belongs on shitbook

You would think there would be some way parents could prevent kids from downloading certain apps.
If a person were to invent an app blocker, or some sort of age restriction that prevents apps from being downloaded/used they could be rich.
The logical option would be to ban phones and tablets. There's an over abundance of them that almost every child and adult has one and can get one of these devices at any time.
How many children have to die before we realize that these electronic devices are the problem?

The way of our fucked up world today. Mentally weak millennial masses, who will eventually run and ruin countries... Tards.

Some creepy shit especially to a youngster. Apparently this momo fuck would demand people hold knives to their throats and progressively get more sick and twisted leading up to suicide. The whole concept has elements of different things like the Japanese film, The Ring and that Blue Whale game that came out a few years back.

Play the game = kill yourself
Don't play = cursed
well shouldnt be a hard choice to make
Anyone killing themselves over it is making society a better place by removing a bit of stupidity from the gene pool.

The real Momo challenge - Take Aldactone while drying out, then compete in the Olympia and Grand Prix series of shows back to back. If Porter Cottrell* and the schmoe Doctor can figure out the correct drugs to save you, you win!
*Cottrell may not be available, Steve Kuclo is an acceptable substitute.

This is typical GB humor, pretty "strong".. Btw I saw Momo in his last or second to last competition here in Italy (he won), in Salsomaggiore. I think the Italian grand prix: he was really incredible, especially in person : had muscles growing over muscles

Remember a few years ago when the ice bucket and the cinnamon challenge were all the rage?

Looks like her twin! I thought she was the most annoying women in any movie ever. I could understand why Jack Nicholson's character wanted to kill her.
