Post by: Marty Champions on March 11, 2019, 11:59:40 AM
Doing some bushing work unfortunatly doing mechanic work feels gay if the 3/4   sockets that u have fit differently . And the earthquake pnuematic air drill 1150 torque from harbor freets isnt good enough. I hope zero casualties on getbig lets keep this party going

One of my expensive sets came with two 3/4s and no 19mm.  ::)  I went back to the shop and said no.  They said ok.  Fucking A.

If you mean the 1/2 drive fit varies then definitely NO.  Just no, China.

A good 3/4 drive set is $ but you'll like having it if you're working on anything of size.

Also there's so much fuckery with torque numbers on rattle guns and drills that their claimed specifications are basically meaningless.  Don't buy Horror Fright shit, man.  Get real tools.  Buy once, cry once.  On the up side, if it hits like a girl then you don't have to feel so bad about not using proper impact sockets, right?

Prepare your nuts, Johnny.  Oil and heat before you crank the 6 foot cheater bar with a jack and beat on it with the sledge.

Often a long bar and socket or a hammer and flogging spanner beats a rattler for getting off tight bolts

The only way I can get the lug nuts off my van is to stand and jump on the breaker bar.

I still have most of my old craftsman hand tools from high school. Made before craftsman went to shit.

My first socket set was a Craftsman.  Still got it.  Over 40 years old.

Great tools then.

In my old job we had a massive rattler powered by compressed air was about 2 or 2.5 inch drive and even with that we sometimes had to resort to using a breaker bar with a length of pipe over  it Mate
