I read about this and concluded it was yet another nail in his coffin. However, it won't mean much if many republicans, both his base and congress, continue to excuse or ignore these obvious 'nails' of his corruption.

During his presidency?

"Another nail in his coffin", lol. Don't there have to be previous nails in order for there to be another?
-
During his presidency?
And this is the point: no potential prosecution for his bank or insurance dealings until after he leaves office.
And even then, TDS tumbles precipitously after 2025, so the will to "resist" goes away.

Who'd have thunk a billionaire had dealings with banks??? Big news...
Following this new standard - I am all for doing the same checks for all high level politicians before and during office. Lobbyist payments would be a problem.

great point
banks never commit any crimes like money laundering, violating US sanctions, fixing interest rates, fraud, etc...
it's not like Trump was considered a deadbeat and a pariah by US Bank so had to get his money from a bank that paid hundreds of millions in fines for laundering money for Russia
No big deal.
Almost everyone here has probably helped launder money for Russian criminals and one time or another
-
HSBC is one of the largest banks in the world and was fined a ton for criminal dealings, many of the big banks here had to be bailed out, Wells had their little scandal and a huge data breach within the last two years.......
So the nail in Trump's coffin is that a businessman found a bank willing to loan him money to do more business? Well shit.....I guess a ton of Americans and paycheck advance companies have some serious explaining to do about taking out and granting high risk loans ::)
DESPERATION. The left wreaks of it more than 30 year old virgin offering $1000 to a trailer park hooker who does blows for a cigarette.
I love liberal :'(

Willful ignorance about who runs the world and how the world runs. It's time for some on here to grow up.
Politics trap people into distractions of what is really going on. Hint - normal rules don't apply to billionaires or those in the political class. It's common sense but I guess it needs said.

wow shocking he got a loan while running a business ??? ::)
-
You can call me ignorant and naïve , but I think the law should apply equally to everyone.
Says the Hillary voter. Ugh!!!

It only requires one to have another. IMO, there are nails. His sheep choose to ignore them.

Even more shocking when you consider that he'd filed bankruptcy several times, defaulted on several previous bank loans and was turned down by every other bank.
-
I actually was at one of his rallies when Sen Rubio said ;
" How do you bankrupt a casino ?"

Last I checked he was a developer before he became president.

While digging up dirt might make a headline at some point the truth is Trump will enjoy the same protections that the Clintons had with their non-profit taking in 150 million from Russia.

That's the problem with the left....you're all focused on opinions, and give two shits about facts. He could cure cancer tomorrow, and if don lemon said he was a white n i g g e r trying to keep the black pharma industry from making a buck off their meds you'd jump on that train quicker than bull stanton in a gang bang.
You and others on the left should stop using IMO....and start using IMD instead.
In your wet dreams is where Trump is getting nailed.

Nail in the coffin is a figure of speech and you seem to want to turn it into a novel. What's a wet dream? I forgot. ;D
