Israeli moon lander "Beresheet" crashes on approach with 1000x more technology than in 1969. DOH! Guess those German engineers that landed the USA module "in 1969" were pretty top notch. :)

This was also a private venture, I think the first private venture to try to land on the moon, by a company called SpaceIL, and they learned a ton in this mission, which had a small spacecraft, and a lot less many than other missions.
Will they try again? Oh yes they will.

Beside the Inhabitants of Amerigo Vespuccis land and Sovjet Union, only Getbiggers will be able to land on the Moon.
Maybe Japan in the future.
