So, is DLB in the hospital ?..... what really happened ?
Her kidneys are stressed not because excessive energy drinks intake but because of training too hard ? really?
Is this true?? any info ?
WoooSHHHHHHHHHHH Ta Na Ka

Who cares. Nasty horse face.
-
Because overtraining will really give you kidney failure. Complete BS.
-
To be fair, they're claiming - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhabdomyolysis .
It could happen if she was going retarded with the training, coaching, etc..... A lot of the Crossfit people wind up with it. I don't follow her, but it's possible.
Edit, yes, Crossfit - https://www.boxrox.com/dana-linn-bailey-crossfit/ .

Rhabdo is real, Crossfit is stupid and she should have known better. But I don't exactly see many in the "hard core" bodybuilding community learning much more about other types of training other than just bodybuilding.

It's weird how they're never talked about anymore. It's like a switch was flipped or something, which seems so strange to me since FNF clothing seemed pretty popular.
When YT Red started pushing recommend stuff with free previews, they put a couple of "Kill Robb Bailey" episodes in my suggested feed. I actually liked it, and watched a few of his YT channel vids. They seem to be a great couple, really down to Earth, and do a lot of funny and cool shit.....way different than the douchey turds I always thought they both were.
Hope she's ok, but I do not buy for one second that she got kidney issues from training too hard. She's not competing so I don't think it's ped related. Either it's her extreme vegan lifestyle, hereditary, or some supplement she takes.

I was writing my post while the info on Rhabdo was being posted. After reading it, I'm thinking I might be right that it's her veganism that's the problem. If strenous exercise is taking place, and complete proteins aren't being consumed to rebuild and repair, then it seems like an excess of protein breakdown would be filtering through the kidneys for the damaged muscle tissue breakdown. Does that make sense? Would you agree with this theory of mine Coach?

I personally think it's a matter if an overzealous coach, an ignorant trainee and a bad coach. Lots of vegans doing CrossFit without the damage.
Example..this guy should never work in the S&C field again despite his degrees and credentials

Does she even have a coach? Everything I remember seeing of her in Robb's YT vids was her training herself. She's a fucking work-horse, and I'm not making fun of her face like some people. I think she's pretty cute as long as she's not doing that stupid fuckin duck face pose.

Whoever her coach is, be it Rob or otherwise should know better and understand the effects of high volume workouts

Didn't she transition from bodybuilding to powerlifting a while back? Now crossfit?
-
this doesn't reflect well on their supplement business.
-
Overtraining is just part of the "If a little is good, a lot is better" syndrome. And it causes failure all the time.
-

Yeah, she was trying the powerlifting thing for a little. She had decent numbers, but she's too old to make a real dent. If she can get it right, Crossfit is a better match, and from a business perspective it's the right move. Those girls can have long shelf lives.
-
I'd hit it...

Yes, there is almost no money in women's powerlifting.

So, if I'm reading her post correctly, she developed liver failure from doing sit ups? Seems a little odd. :-\

These done for high reps, usually at the end. People laugh, but they've taken out a lot of Crossfitters.

So, this specific type of sit up, for high reps, causes liver failure? In that case, I will make sure to avoid them. ???

Who calls themselves "Day Day Knucks?" ::) ::)

does this 38 year old woman have any children? if not, why not

I'm thinking this is probably more likely the case. Hard to believe "special sit ups" did all this. :-\

"Her" ginormous shenis prevents penile penetration?

You can't have children and be self centered.

Any recent pics of her?

Not a sincere tear was wept. Not even by the angels.
Fuck this lying, self-centered bitch.

It's baffling that these so-called fitness experts believe that we are dumb enough to really believe the crap they spew.
Years of sticking chemicals in her body had nothing to do with it. A few situps, and BAM, organ problems. ::) ::)

The struggle is real. 3 rounds of 2 minutes, GHD sit ups will hospitalize you. Fact! :)
-
GHD situps are very stressful on the abs.
Another example of stupid Crossfit training ideas to have someone do as many as they can and hurt themselves.

I suspect the next move will be to establish a Gofundme GoFuckMe page. FTN.

Meh. For the sake of argument, allegedly 100% of the IFBB is on steroids, same with professional Strongman, OL, Powerlifting, etc.... Yet Rhado is very, very rare. Where it is not so rare is Crossfit, in fact it was so common in Crossfit it had it's own meme that was a mascot in the early days -
(https://d1s2fu91rxnpt4.cloudfront.net/legacy/Rhabdo3.jpg).
And if we google "GHD Sit Up Rhabdo", you get 14,000+ references. If you google "Crossfit Rhabdo" you get 85,000+ across a broad population, not just elites.
Also, you can look at her Instagram, and sort of tell that she's not an established Crossfitter, used to all the movements, time protcols, etc.... So you can't make the argument that she may have adapted somewhat to it.

SF1900 did you watch the cross fit sit up video? It's a very intense and explosive movement. I'm sure her body was used to years of bodybuilding style leg raises and crunches.
When she performed the the crossfit sit up the muscle confusion caused her liver to be freaked out.

The good ol’ muscle confusion strikes again.
The leading cause of early death is muscle confusion.

Still pretty big, Crossfit as a brand has quieted down a lot. 3 different things have happened -
1) A lot of the smaller gyms (Boxes) have gone under. Some from bad coaching, others have priced themselves out (lots of box owners had dreams of charging $120- 300 monthly fees). Also there was, and probably is still a lot of pressure from corporate to kick up to them some cash, under the guise of retraining, equipment purchases, etc....).
2) A lot of the people that got priced out or grew tired of dealing with the corporate end of it, simply modified it somewhat and renamed it. This was sometimes better, depending on the coach because they mellowed it out.
3) Corporate quieted down all the old personalities that made Crossfit fun and moved it forward in the beginning. Gone are the tales of drunken orgies, and other tales that made it interesting sometimes. And the personal interactions with the early core group of Crossfitters has waned. As it got older the feeling of eliteness has quieted down too. A few years ago it was the strength sport of the young and monied, now every middle class housewife knows it.

Looks like you got yourself the first T-shirt in your GetBig range right there. Others may require split revenue streams with Ron:

Etc, etc....

I will say a prayer that our very own Coach will be safe from side effects as he megadoses for his contest.
-
How is she ? Is she back on her BCAAS? Kidneys are holding on?
-
I don't understand Rhabdomyolsis. Bodybuilders train like lunatics in the weight room and cardio. Never hear of bodybuilders going through Rhabdomyolsis. Could it be the steroid component? Now in crossfit you have people doing intense 20 minute workouts and Rhabdomyolsis is common. Why? Is it because many crossfitters are new to working out? What is it about crossfit that it's a thing and not a thing in the weight room?
I train without drug even hormone replacement therapy. Never have a problem but two weeks ago after a leg day I could barely walk for a couple of days. The legs actually felt incredibly weak. Was it Rhabdomyolsis? Felt like crap. Took a week off and back to normal. WTF? Never felt that intense soreness and weakness after a work out that lasted for days.
-
Glad she is sick-does she deserve death for her stupidity? Perhaps...
The fact that she lies about her drug abuse makes this bittersweet ;D
-
Rhabdo doesnt happen to everyone, just like colitis doesnt happen to everyone. Its not a drug thing.
(Well, maybe if you are feckin' your kidneys with drugs they cant filter the waste properly, then possibly).
Rob Regish (Blueprint Power Hour on Superhuman Radio) has had 6 bouts with this over the years. Not a drug user.
Sounds nasty either way, DLB is annoying on Social Media, but I like her, wood hit it...
