funk, et al,

Who is this in the photo?  My guess would be Steve Reeves but not sure.  This is obviously a really old photo, Life magazine hasn’t been published for decades.

i put this up on ironhistory.com and everyone thought it was either ed t. or bill pearl. i'm thinking it could be a young bill pearl because photog looks like leo stern pearl's trainer. originally i thought guy was leo stern but he has blond hair.

Looks kinda like Eric Pedersen from the back.  I think he was about 5' 11" or so.

found it photog was russ warner and a young jack lalanne.

Hurrah funk!  If anyone knew the answer I thought it would be you. For awhile I was beginning to think it might be Charles Atlas. Or John Grimek.  I had not thought of LaLanne.
