Great story no doubt but i feel like it was slightly embellished by the reporter.
Calling a 20 year old with an ak47 skilled is a reach. In any case he was very LUCKY.
The fact that he got the jump on 5 armed home invaders and suffered no injuries is shocking.
Also who robs a 20 year old for cash and said victim has an ak under his couch?
There has to be more to this story.

Do you think he served a 2 year term and got out with a (dis)honorable discharge?
Or maybe hes just an expert marksman, who has been honing his "skill" at shooting ranges and on COD?
I wouldn't have made the comment if he was 22.
I still think homie was lucky to pull an AK from under his couch and unload on 5 armed men without catching a bullet himself.

Given this occured in Houston, there's a strong possibility this kid grew up shooting firearms.
Guys I'm not saying this guy never shot a gun or that he doesn't know how to handle one.
Obviously he is well versed with guns, he keeps an AK47 under his couch.
Was it really skill that allowed him to take out 5 armed gunmen? In permit class they teach if you're the second one to pull out your gun you're to late. Triggers are pulled quickly, so your reaction time when pulling a gun isnt faster than the one who has the gun aimed.
