Title: WSM 2019 in Florida in June - too hot and humid?!
Post by: obsidian on April 27, 2019, 08:58:31 PM: I see the WSM will be held near Tampa from June 13th - 16th 2019. That's gotta suck trying to lift such heavy weights in that heat and humidity. The lower elevation does help as far as oxygen levels go. What do you guys think?

July and August are “typically” when the heat gets brutal.

I mean young people running at a crawl. I started at a really good clip and after a half mile I was at a crawl. That heat will break you.

It was supposed to be held in California but the hotel accommodation fell through in March and now it at IMG's campus near Tampa.
