I don't get the bearded look either. Maybe because I'm over 40 but to me it looks gross and unkept. Most women I talk to between 25-40 don't dig it.
Women like the 3-4 day beard look a lot better or just clean shaven.

Everyone seems to have tattoos now. I never will. I wear my hair short with a low fade. I stay clean shaven and stay fit. And you're right, you will stand out in a good way from the bearded, tattoo'd masses.

I used to be a clean shaven guy.
Prefer the 2-5 day stubble look. Nicely maintained and trim around the neck looks good. Still able to show your features off while fitting the part.
I do agree though, actual beards generally look dumb. However studies have shown that women find men with heavy-light stubble as most attractive.

Some people look good with them and some do not. Like a lot of things. Blondes/redheads/light brown generally not. Darker ones look a lot better.

The beard shouldnt look so pretentious. It should look like a consequence of just not caring. Like alot of special forces soldiers who just dont give a fuck what they look like and have full dignified desert beards.
