Ronnie Coleman's long awaited book is coming - debuting at the 2019 Olympia Expo
-
That’s a terrible cover
-
Wouldn’t read it if someone gave it to me for free.
Garbage.
-
Who is the author?

It is interesting at to why choose that cover over a classic muscular bodybuilding pose that won him an Olympia - but I would think that he approved the cover too...
-
Was I the only one surprised its not a coloring book?

He most def did
I saw him a few wks ago at metroflex, the guy was literally in a wheelchair, and was having trouble walking around when he got up to get to his walker, sad sight to behold......

in before someone asks if the book will include his steroid cycle!

Who is the author?
You underestimate Ronnie's writing caliber. He clearly wrote the title. And look at this amazing work by Ronnie:
The harder you train, it seems, the slower your progress. You obey all the rules using— good form, hard and heavy, proper pyramiding, and a regimen so precise that the Greenwich prime meridian bends to your schedule...—but your chest remains the same. Sure, it’s thick, swollen and proportioned, but you want it bigger. You want to watch it grow, see it move, bulging and distorting like a Lava Lite in front of a funhouse mirror.

Is it the actual cover? There is software out there that allows you to upload a photo, edit text / font and it creates a book cover.

I’ll bet it’s written in crayon

Philosophically it is an interesting topic. Most of us will be on this earth 79 years according to statistics. The vast majority of us will come and go with little acknowledgement other than our families. Others, like Hawkings, Elvis, Sinatra, Michael Jackson etc left the world early, but will live on for generations in peoples minds and text books. Coleman is in great pain. I wouldn't change my life for his for any amount of money at this point.. but when I die, having lived a pretty decent life, no one other than my family and friends will remember my name. He on the other hand will live on for several generations in the annals of body building history.
Personally, I prefer my relatively mundane life if I can reach 79, relatively pain free and healthy, to his... but not everyone is that way. Some will risk it all to "go down in history"

Ronnie loves that pic and the whole notion of being "King Coleman". Also the cover has sort of a Generation Iron feel to the design, fonts, etc.... -

Most bios are written, at least to a sizeable degree, by a ghost author.
Ronnie’s is undoubtably fully written by another party.
Heck, decades ago I ghost wrote one of his articles, as well as innumerable more for other bodybuilders.

My favorite bodybuilder. I'm an avid reader. Based on cover and title, would not buy and would be too embarrassed to check out of the library.
-
a book written by a man that cant write for people who cant read
quite a concept
-
It’s going to feel embarrassing the moment he realizes he can’t read his own book
-
Book should have been released before the movie .......
He's more fun to watch in video anyways.
-
Should hire a better designer...
-
Was I the only one surprised its not a coloring book?
Ha!

-
Sales of the Book go towards his medical bills.
