e.g. Finasteride etc. is pretty beta behavior in the Hulkotron's humble opinion.
If you haven't advanced well past the life stage of pursuing whores by the time you experience significant hair loss, you might need to re-think your life.

Someone told me by age 26, if you have all your hair, it's here to stay.

Obviously having hair is preferred to not having hair.
I use a anti dht shampoo a few times a week, had a bit of shedding when I was younger, now that I’m a natural athlete it’s under control.
Would never take a hormonal product or inconvenient rogaine. Not worth it. Very faggy, right up there men using Botox.

I have a head full of beautiful dark hair. :)

I like how a board with members dedicated to hrt, androgen abuse, baked grass clippings, spouse swapping and other illict behavior Finasteride is the real enemy.

Lol. Exactly. If you take finasteride Rethink your life. But keep injecting drugs to avoid beta behavior. I love this place.

If you are young losing your hair can be hard to take. Understandable.
But after a certain point in your life you just don't give a crap about losing your hair.
Shave your head. Save money on haircuts.

I once remember reading something along the lines of "Ill live my life as if there is a heaven and hell, just in case..."
Males should feel the same way about their hair-
if you are not stupid and make it through your 30's without getting married, hair is an absolute asset.
Do everything you can, regardless of genetics etc. to keep it-
If that means taking a pill everyday, fuck it-Avodart is a wonderful invention!

Most men nowadays seem to lose their hair early - in their 20ies in many cases.
If you make it till 30+ with hair it's highly likely to stay albeit there are men who are thinning slightly while they're sliding into their grave.
The "only" man who really looked good balding was Sean Connery, granted - he was one of a kind.

I started balding in my early 20's and was in my mid 20's by the time I lost most my hair. Two hair transplants later along with a 1mg daily dose of finasteride, I do look significantly better.
I would have tolerated hair loss in my 40's, but any younger and I think it's worth doing whatever it takes to reverse it.

ive dunno how many times ive posted a good routine against it
1. use rogaine well before any hair starts - start in your mid 20s - it helps prevent it
2. anti dandruff shampoo
3. take saw palmetto, other healthy supps
4. eat a high quality diet full of healthy protien and fats
5. if you have extra money - get PRP injections 3-4x per year
start these while you still have hair vs it falling out

Same. Lost it early mainly as Roid use sped it up. But if i'd starting losing later on like my 30's I wouldn't have cared so much. Had 4 transplants, 2 were good but wanted more. No interest in using any drugs though.

Popping a pill once a day is an "extensive" routine? Hell thats the beauty of the stuff - it's easy. Rogaine seems like a hassle, being that you have to apply a messy cream twice a day

Fin - Minox - Nizoral

Someone told me by age 26, if you have all your hair, it's here to stay.
I’m in my mid 30’s and still have a full head of hair but if i start losing my hair, I’m getting on every preventative measure, I’m not going bald ;D
-
I used to use Minoxidil, and it helped a little for slight recession at the temple area, but I felt it does get absorbed into the skin as well.
I now use Alpecin caffeine shampoo and Nizoral occasionally.
The older I get, the less I worry about this type of stuff.

Arnold took boatloads of drugs which don't help keep hair and didn't start losing it seriously until his 40's? You can't really tell you're losing it until you've lost around half....

Got lucky..
About to turn 46 ..
Have a full set of hair..
My dad and grandfather lost all their hair in their late 20's
;D ;D

What about body hair?
Prevent loss or go bald?
