Slide to second slide. Never seen this one, but it looks pretty cool. Not sure if it has any advantages over any other machines or exercises, but the design is pretty cool.  8)

Me and my training partner will sometimes do these. He’s lying back on the seated row machine using the rope as a front raise variation. I like it.

Me and my training partner will sometimes do these. He’s lying back on the seated row machine using my bodyweight for pelvic thrusts. I like it. A lot.

Sounds really hi tech.

What advantage is there in doing that movement lying down? You seem to get the exact same plane of resistance just doing it standing up.

Lying down you have more control over your lumbar region. Doing this exercise while standing most meatheads don’t squeeze the glutes and abs hard enough to avoid lumbar extension - ass out. You want to keep your spine neutral when standing. 99% of the gym goers are clueless about proper form anyway until some pain occurs.  Lying down you can drive your lover back into the seat and prevent it from arching.

You have to be a hobbit to do shoulder raises like that. No range of motion for taller guys. Unless you put some sort of extension on the cable.

Its all isolated front and anterior delt. No swing in the low back from standing. But for the record I like these but prefer standing as well
