Recently, Rory and I switched internet providers to Xfinity/Comcast. I learned that I have a 1 Terabyte cap on internet usage per month. It seems like many companies are beginning to do this. Does anyone else have this data cap? If so, do you ever go over?
According to a website, 1 TB will get you:
Stream between 600 and 700 hours of HD video
Play online games for more than 12,000 hours
Stream more than 15,000 hours of music
Upload or download more than 60,000 hi-res photos
I pretty much work at Auto Zone from 9-5 and Rory works at Chipotle the same hours. When we come home, we like to watch a movie or two, and I obviously love to browse getbig. We both do no social media and are not gamers. We browse the internet here and there. I assume 1 TB will be enough for the month.
Only serious comments or you will have to deal with me.

Xfinity and A T and T do it. Xfinity/Comcast started about 2-3 years ago.
I am glad to hear that Rory and I will be able to continue watching our late night movies together!!

You can do anything you want with the data. It's really how you distribute it. That's just a general breakdown.
I mainly browse getbig and watch 1-2 movies or shows every night.
On the weekends, I use it more, but not that much.

Cap limits are garbage.
I have unlimited data starting at $20 a month. That covers the first 5 hours of use and then I pay between $0.05-0.11 per hour depending if its peak useage time.
Im glad Rory left CVS and found somewhere he can be happy. Chipotle has a fun environment and delicious food.

Thanks for the information Dave!!
I can get unlimited date for an extra $50 a month, but I do not think I will need it.

And, yes, CAP limits are ridiculous. Strange how that federal government allowed providers to limit internet use. I thought it was illegal. ??? ??? ???

We sell avocados and manly beach t-shirts, but not the bicep supination machine. Mr. Basile has a patent on that.

My 56k dialup modem has no time or data limit and loads getbig just fine. What else could you possibly need from the interwebs?

By hall pass breakup I mean was it an excuse to sodomize someone else and not have it considered cheating?

Never heard that term before (hall pass breakup).
I do not know. It was mutual. I do not know what he did during our break.

There was a movie named Hall Pass where the wives gave the husbands a week or weekend to do anything they wanted. Owen Wilson, Jenna Fischer and Christina Applegate were in it.
