I am building mine now by following a carb-rotation, calorie-rotation cutting diet. I am 6'2" and 215lb. I have to eat:
2000 calories on no carb days (twice a week)
2500 calories on carb days (four times a week) *i train here
2300-2500 calories on low carb days (one time a week)
I also do cardio when I have a no carb, low carb, or 2000 calories day.
