Seriously. You have crazy and crazier right now for the Dems. Fringe policy pitches and just plain out of touch with normal citizens/tax payers that don't live in cities.
Who is getting ready to step in because this field is so weak and weird?
-
Hillary to the rescue.
-
The dems have a decent slate of candidates and just need to be sure NOT to go so far left, they fall off a libtard cliff LOL.
If they embrace a socialist agenda , they will seal their own doom.
If NOT, they win in 2020.

They all have embraced socialism...except for Biden and he's about to be pushed down the stairs by a paid DNC staffer...so which is it - decent or doomed?

To you, having another choice besides Trump doesn't make sense, so wtf ;)

I actually like Tulsi Gabbard and vote for her locally, but no way is she ready to be POTUS. Plus she committed the cardinal sin of criticizing Hillary Clinton before the 2016 election. And she used to support traditional marriage.

I'm not too familiar with her, so I will pay attention more.
Most of these folks would get waxed in a debate.
Warren is trying to buy her way in now with reparations for everyone
Booker is talking about meeting with Farrakhan
Beto is just a straight up moron - if Kavanaugh had a DWI and fled the scene as a youth, he wouldn't have been sworn in. No idea why it's ok for this guy.
Biden's record will haunt him......and the democrats don't want an old white guy......
Not impressed.

She's pretty smart. Combat vet. I don't agree with many of her policy views, but she's at least in the "not crazy" box.
Agree about the rest. It's not just that Biden's record will be an issue (that the media will try and suppress), it's that he's not very bright, spent his career in DC and accomplished nothing, been wrong for 40 years, is a terrible debater, and has not aged well. He's looks like he could be Trump's much older brother. Don't underestimate how looking like a frail old man could hurt him.

I really like Cuban as well from a personality standpoint. He is generally respected in the DFW area and I've listened to alot of his interviews on tv, radio and YouTube. People say he got lucky with the Broadcast thing and that might be true but I've always found him to be a knowledgeable guy.
Of course, it's not related to politics but he really helped turn around a laughingstock franchise with the Mavericks and brought on an impressive 15 year streak of good basketball.

I like Cuban too.
Always thought he'd be a good replacement to buy the Yankees if Steinbrenner ever sold.

I know he was interested in the Cubs a few years back. I'm not sure if it was the so called "good ole boys network" that kept him out or what but I can tell you the guy LOVES his Mavericks. Very hands on guy who sits courtside(home and away) in the majority of the games.
Even as a guy like myself who leans right, I wouldn't be devastated if a Cuban type was elected. A charismatic Gen-X mutli-billionaire sports franchise owner with pro-capitalist beliefs. I could deal with that.
Problem is, I just do not know if the Democratic Party has a place for a guy like that anymore and I just cannot see him up there cucking out and giving in to the leftist outrage mob cancer that is festering within their party. Look at how Howard Schultz and John Hickenlooper have been treated recently by those people for taking a more moderate viewpoint. Cuban has too good of a life to deal with that sort of bs.

Bernie is a combo of Warren and Biden.
Harris is just dumb and not ready for prime time, even though she fits the ideal Dem candidate profile: Female and a few shades darker than white.

Yep, he would be too "conservative" for them, lol

I can't believe we both like the same politician. ;)
She's very sexy looking too...at least compared to her peers LOL.
Sucks that she's not doing better in the polls.

LOL!
Tulsi Gabbard.

I like him as a sports owner but haven't been impressed with his discussion of policy. I've only listened to him talk politics once, so maybe I caught him on a bad day.
I agree about what he has done with the Mavericks. Impressive.
-
Cuban knows that running for high office is very different from talking about issues.
So, he won't run and I don't blame him.
You were right about Tulsi Gabbard not being ready for "prime time".
In last nights she did ok, but won't move up much in the polls.
For me, I thought Warren was very sharp on policy but doesn't have the right appeal to win
working class whites.
Tm Ryan was the one I could support and agree with .
Reparations for slavery and gay people? Breaking up facebook and Google? Seventy or more percent tax brackets? Amnesty and open borders? Gun confiscation?
Yeah, real sharp on policy.
-
I didn't say I AGREED with her, BUT , she had a deep knowledge of the issues she supports.
Seriously? How can she have "deep knowledge" on issues that make no dang sense? She has no idea how to implement any of that unrealistic crap. She's as big of an empty suit as Obama.

Howard "the independent voter". ;D

I might have deep knowledge of jumping off a skyscraper but that doesn't make it a good idea.

She should try having deep knowledge of the Constitution of the United States. Dumb broad. ::)

Boiling frog concept is at work here I think. Look at this field...Biden is the only moderate and they hate him, haha...dems seem to know they will lose but it is inevitable that a huge market correction is due in Trump's 2nd term. If Trump holds it off until after the election he won't be beaten by any of these people.
They've planted the seeds of socialism, income inequality and free everything...so next crash they can claim capitalism is over and run somebody very extreme left to "save the people". Minimum basic income, $20 minimum wage, tax and spend, etc. will all be in play as they pitch revenge on the wealthy and corporations. Pendulum swings back and forth but this one will be a doozy.

I watched a bit of it last night. His answer to everything was basically"We need to rise up".
"How are you going to pay for that?".
"Big money corporations are terrible. We will rise up!!"
Huh?

From seize the means of production to seize the means for consumption. The idea of bringing in a free shit army both foreign and domestic to change the election process is what Bernie is so excited about.
