It was the WWF to me too, until the World Wildlife Fund sued them. ;D

There is a video on WWE.com of Big John Studd bench pressing 700-lb.  ::)

I quit being a fan back in the late 90's.  WWE guys used to train at the Taylor, MI Powerhouse Gym (no longer open) while they were in town for a show.  The only guy who looked like he lifted was Lex Luger and I wasn't all that blown away by him.  I was about 24 the last time I saw those guys and that included Razor Ramon, The Rock, Red Rooster aka Terry Taylor, Lex and I think Kevin Nash.  Kevin Nash went to high school about 15 minutes from that gym.  None of those guys knew what the fuck they were doing in the gym.  They lifted pussy weight, for pussy reps and with shitty form.  Saw Hogan too but he was already shrinking.  Would have loved to have seen Hogan in the mid 80's.  Forgot about Goldberg.  He was impressive to look at.

Kane is a self-proclaimed strong bencher since his college football days, and I believe him although he’s got long arms. Guy was a beast.

Friend of mine played football with Lex. Have heard some great stories about the guy, he was a good athlete even before his WWF days

Remember guys, behind every great man benching heavy, there's a great woman...taking half his shit:

I call BS on these claims. I don't see Big Show benching 500 lbs for 12 reps. I can't even find a video of him benching.

Exactly. Just saw your post. He then says Cena lifts massive amounts in the gym and Cena claims his own max bench is under 500 lbs lol! Cena's numbers are more believable.

Yeah, it's all bullshit with the exception of a few. Big Show almost seems to be trolling with his answer.

Everyone in the industry acknowledges that Cena is strong beyond belief.  Cena has gone on record saying that the three strongest guys he has been in the ring with are Mark Henry, Chris Masters and Cesearo.  Or however you spell his name.   Cena said that while Kane and Brock and others could lift more than Cesaro in a lift that consisted of a fixed moving pattern (bench press, deadlift, etc..) Cesaro had more functional strength than them in the ring.

Great post. I have no idea why any strongly independent men would get married. They must be pretty lonely or horny to be willing to risk half their resources.

Cena seems the most reliable as he has videos up of him working out and lifting big. He also has the frame to really be strong.
