Fun to watch. I'm surprised ver Magnusson still had that type of performance in him. You know that had to hurt Kazmaier though, still one of the highest competitive drives in the sport.

Yes he could be an asshole. I remember seeing a video of him mocking another guy in the gym saying he is not really that strong. The other guy was getting all upset and his girlfriend was also there yelling at Bill saying he's an asshole and that her boyfriend is also strong lol!

Magnusson is 10 years younger and Kazmaier looks bigger than him. His arms are 21" at 65! But good performance from Magnusson.

I was there when him and Coan called out Kovacs to enter a powerlifting meet and prove his claims.
All things considered, there’s a VERY strong argument to be made that Kazmaier is the true GOAT of the strength world.

Stupid event though. Pretty sure the taller man will be at a disadvantage because with longer arms the pillars will be at a steeper angle thus alot heavier.

He looked too loose, He needed to start out stiffer, and with better scapular retraction. Also he's always had some trouble with these types of holds since he tore his pec in the bar bend years ago.

I've met and had an extended conversation with Bill Kazmaier. Extremely nice guy and engaging to speak with. A freaking legend.

Kaz in his prime was insanely strong, powerful, quick and had decent muscular endurance. I remember some pictures of him squatting really deep when he didn't have to in powerlifting to leave no doubt about depth.

The dude with the blonde chick (his wife) is Dave Gauder. He was bullied when younger and that led him to trying to get bigger and stronger. This photo I think is from 2018. Looks pretty good for his age even though he is short. This is probably why he got into it with Bill - because of his past history being bullied. Wonder if his wife is still alive. She was kind of cute in the video - I could see Kaz having his way with her.
