Someone posted a link to badass grip trainers a whle ago. Who has it ???

A judo grip strengthening exercise is to simply open and close your hands until you feel a burn. No equipment required.
Sounds easy until you try to do 100 reps.

Are you talking CoC grippers? (Captains of Crush) or the Bruce Lee style grip machine?

I think this is it. Thanks Powertit66.

Just squeeze or pinch something as hard as you can for 6-10 seconds.
Try varying the size of things you use.
Things to use:
Towels
Foam rubber
Ball
Bar
Post
Weight plates
Grippers
Anything you want

Love the Captains of Crush. I have the 150lb, 200lb and 250lb.

At first it seems like you’re wasting your time, then you reach the “Oh Fuck” moment.
A good part of Judo is gripping so a lot of good techniques and exercises have developed.
Gripping a tennis ball is another good one.
-
try using your left hand

No prob "2nd-coming-on-men" ;)

Hang from a chin bar. Just hang for as long as you can.

Not from the neck.

Haven't you seen Vince Basile's pinch grip training contraptions?

Don't forget 'safety fat' was self proclaimed World Pinch Groping Champ, & promoter/competitor in that contest ;D
(3 Basils competed ;))

basil would snap iron cross pencil neck in half.

For pinch and supports, I always liked this style of trainer -
(https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/31F73h27GDL._SY450_.jpg).
That being said, I always get the best overall grip work from plain old thick bar work in the 2" - 2 1/2" range. Mostly the 2". Timed holds also worked well.
Never cared for grippers, they're neat for quick demonstrations, but my hands always felt too wrecked when using them in actual programming.
If I do buy another grip tool, it might be an anvil trainer just for fun -
(https://www.ironmind-store.com/images/1257_10_F.jpg).
or maybe a climbing board -

That was a one-time thing. Hardly a trend ok. ::)

The ideal is 'progressive resistance'...Being able to increase the resistance so you can get measurably stronger. Most of these gadgets and exercises don't do that. Just hanging from a bar is isometric which we know is not as effective as actually moving through a range of motion.
-
The old-fashioned Farmer's Walk helps too. Grab something moderately heavy and walk around with it.
-
there's some fun stuff you can buy or make yourself
heavy hammer
wrist roller
rolling thunder
-
Try fingertip push ups as well.
