Two people told me "nice shirt" at Hampton Beach NH yesterday.
Wife told me they were just gay and liked me, but maybe they liked the nice shirt?

JOE, Good to see the apparent success of your new business, but I can't remember the last time I purchased a T-shirt as just about every casino here in Vegas gives frree T-shirts to their customers or you can buy 4 for 10 along the Strip .... and a family member is in the T-shirt manufacturing biz and 'prints' them for major US enterprises.

At present he is printing many thousands for a new Tequila brand, so yesterday I went with him to the local company that prints the 'decals' that he will be pressng on the shirts (a very interesting process with them-thar printing machines that cost about $25,000 each .... and up).

Here's a question which you may not be able to answer, but being in the T-sirt biz ... you should!

Who was/is Rick Ralston?

Another interesting subject about the T-shirt biz ..... The garment district in Downtown L.A. which I bet you're familiar with.

I’ll go to LA once in a great while but not very often. Usually tees in Vegas that are like 4 for $10 are out of style 100% cotton tees that they probably get for about .50-1.00 per shirt in mass quantities. We have just few manufactures that we choose from depending on the style. We’re putting together performance tees for the next event and currently planning our fall/winter wear with hoodies, long sleeve, beanies, etc.

Both my sons own their own branding, marketing and in house print company, they handle all of LiveFit and Ghost and a bunch more as well as mine so their running off about 4-600 pcs an hour and just brought in another machine to handle the over load plus an extra swing shift. Point being we have meetings about every couple of weeks about which garments we should be using but one thing for sure, we use nothing that’s 100% cotton.

What do you think livefit is pulling in profit wise, even though I can’t stand their owner, tatted up Asian douche?

JOE, You may or may not know about this but yesterday I was in one of the LV T-shirt printing shops (huge place and they print on all types of clothing) and saw something I never saw before.

Printing expandable decals on stretchable material which I think would e of inteest within the bodybuilding world.

A while back they had problems developing a form fitting Superman costume  for Supe to wear in one of the Superman movies. And the problem was solved at a cost of many thousands.

The SUPE-LOGO on the form fitting (stretchable) costume had to also have a stretchable Superman logo on the chest.

I was not involved in the design of this costume so I am not aware of the problems involved but they had to make a good number of Supe Suits with details involved which were not even evident on screen.

But yesterday for the first time I watched as they 'printed' these 'stretchable' decals on stretchable (form fitting) T-shirts.

Are you aware of this and do you think that it would be of interest within the bodybuilding and athletic world?

Coach

Pardon my ignorance, but why do you avoid the 100% cotton stuff..?  (Bet there's a really obvious answer I'm overlooking...)

I wanted a more quality garment that people could wear over and over without it shrinking or losing form after one or two washes that's why we went with a 60/40 in the tee's and tanks.

If we ever do go with a 100% cotton shirt, tank or whatever it will be mostly for promos giveaways at events

I think if he sold ones with fake shit splashed across across the chest region, they'd fly off the shelves in Australia.
